| #BBW- Did you miss the PREMIERE of 'Basketball Wives' Season 5! [video] Posted: 20 Aug 2013 02:25 PM PDT  I wish I could use adjectives like 'EXPLOSIVE' or 'SALACIOUS' when describing episode 1 of Vh1's venerable 'Basketball Wives' but I can't.. I was just an HOUR REHASH of the drama between Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson. It was a BORING re-examination of stuff WE ALREADY know. The story has been played out on the BLOGS and tabloids for months so, it came off as STALE MOVIE THEATRE POPCORN-- you eat it because it's there and you have no other options. It was good to see Evelyn's side and how she dealt with the media scrutiny. But that could have been summed up in the first 30 minutes. Let's get to the NEW DRAMA. But for those that missed it, here it goes again. *Sidebar* Doesn't Evelyn's daughter look like she could be REALLY SNOBBY and STUCK UP!? Just saying. Back to BBW. The most EXCITING part of the shoe to me was the last minute when they gave a TEASER of what's to come.  After the 'Mean Girls' have barked and ran all of the weak girls away, it was about time that the ladies TURNED ON EACH OTHER. It's going to get good when Evelyn and Suzie don't see eye to eye and Tami and Shaunie are going to LOCK HORNS, and of course the new wife looks like she is going to be a 'wildcard'.
