[details] Posted: 15 May 2013 03:37 PM PDT  By NOW I am sure you have all heard Kelly Rowland's HOT, yet deeply PERSONAL and gut-wrenching, 'Dirty Laundry'! On the track, Kelly talks about being happy for Beyonce's success, while slowly dying inside due to personal struggles she was going through. The-Dream helped pen the new single, and Kelly recounts the EMOTIONAL journey she embarked on just to get the words on WAX!!! Check out what Kelly Had to say after the JUMP!  'Dirty Laundry', Kelly Rowland's EMOTIONAL NEW single has set the INTERNET on FIRE today!  The candid track finds Rowland laying herself bare with frank and often poignant commentary that begins during a rough period shortly after the release of her solo debut "Simply Deep" in 2002. The song unfolds in chapters, with Rowland confronting her resentment over Beyoncé's post-Destiny's Child success in the first verse. "When my sister was on stage / killing it like a mother fucker / I was in a rage / feeling it like a motherfucker," she sings, later adding, "Post-'Survivor,' she on fire / Who wanna hear my bullshit?" The second and third verses take a darker turn, with Rowland singing about an ex who was "hitting the window like it was me / And still it shattered.He pulled me out and said 'Don't nobody love you but me / Not your mama / Not your daddy / and especially not Bey.'" Recording the song was so emotional for Rowland, it took her nearly a dozen takes to lay down her vocals without crying. And even at a recent listening for her label, she had to leave the room before the song was played. "It was very emotional. It took me days to record," Rowland tells Billboard. "I had to get past being so upset and actually sing the song, not sob through it. I always hope that my music can inspire someone, the same way other artists inspire me. Dream said, 'I want to write you a record so that people will know exactly who you are, underneath it all.'"  "What unfolds on TV or on the Internet, it's never really that. You think it is but it's just not," he says. "When you have a stage like Kelly has, you should talk about that part of your life. Things she expresses here, we only had an IDEA about but she POURS OT OUT in FULL EFFECT HERE. We had to know that coming from a POWERHOUSE group like Destiny's Child there would be GROWING PAINS. Especially when one STAR eclipses the other members' successes.   For YEARS, the critics and fans have PITTED Beyonce against Kelly. There always was the underlying desire to create 'BEEF' between the two, but before the cameras and press it appeared that the ladies were the BEST of friends. They still are, but Kelly speaks of her struggles to make a name for HERSELF in the shadow of Beyonce's stardom that SHOT THROUGH the ROOF with her solo success. Every success Kelly would make as a solo artist seemed to get OVERSHAWDOWED by something Beyonce was doing. Here Kelly is not in so many words, 'takiing shots' at Beyonce, but telling us that even though she was HAPPY for dear friend, there was still feelings of envy cultivating. Kelly also talks about relationship issues where apparently when she was in her darkest hours, she was in an ABUSIVE relationship. Wow.
