He topped both the RAP and Hot 200 charts with his DEBUT ALBUM, 'Oxymoron'! A HUGE congrats is in order indeed. This marks TDE's 1st #1 debut---if you remember, Kendrick Lamar made his DEBUT at #2 so the CAMP definitely has CAUSE for celebration and it would be remiss of me to not SHOUT THEM OUT. | 1st Look: #Andre3000 as #JimiHendrix 'All Is By My Side' biopic! [video] Posted: 05 Mar 2014 09:00 PM PST  Get your 1st look at Andre 3000, AKA Andre Benjamin as the LEGENDARY Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic, 'JIMI: All Is By My Side'. All Is By My Side tells Hendrix's story in the year before he became a rock legend, when he was still a back-up guitarist named Jimmy James playing dingy New York clubs. A well-connected groupie named Linda Keith, however, sees in him something special. She brings him to 1966 London, where Jimmy transforms into Jimi. Sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll ensue. The film culminates with Hendrix being invited to the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, the historic all-star concert that made him an icon.  In an exclusive clip from the film, Jimi and Linda (Imogen Poots) have a heart-to-heart before he flies to California. The movie didn't have the support of the Hendrix estate so it makes do without his music, but critics nevertheless applauded when the biopic debuted at last fall's Toronto Film Festival. | WIPE HIM DOWN! #LilBoosie is a FREE MAN!! [details] Posted: 05 Mar 2014 07:46 PM PST  Lil Boosie fans can rejoice and let out a COLLECTIVE SIGH of RELIEF! Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch is once again a FREE MAN!!! [via: WAFB] Boosie was released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola Wednesday night. Angola State Penitentiary Warden Burl Cain confirms the rapper, who is legally named Torrence Hatch, was released at 7:10 p.m. He was transferred to a sheriff's department facility in St. Francisville where family members were waiting for him. A native of Baton Rouge, the rapper has fans worldwide who have commonly used the term "Free Boosie" since his incarceration. Boosie has been serving prison time on drug charges in 2009. The Louisiana Department of Corrections Wednesday afternoon had the rapper's official release date listed as May 20, 2014.  In 2012, the rapper went on trial for murder but was found not guilty. Prosecutors called more than two dozen witnesses in the trial but a jury rendered a verdict after just one hour of deliberating. He was accused of hiring a man to kill a local rap artist.He will remain on parole until 2018. Lil Boosie is scheduled to attend a news conference in New Orleans Monday, organized by Atlantic Records. Boosie will speak at an event in New Orleans on March 10, according to an invitation that was sent to the media Wednesday. The invite reads "Trill Entertainment and Atlantic Records invites you to hear #BoosieSpeak." The event will be held at the W Hotel at 1 p.m. It's good to see his label is still very much behind him. Word from the curb is that Boosie has catalogs and catalogs of songs he prepared while incarcerated and is set to hit a STUDIO ASAP.  |

Word from the CURB is that Tamar had to let a TRUSTED employee go for what she calls "BROKEN TRUST". The 'All the way Home' singer does not ELABORATE on just how the 'trust' was broken, but did say this: "U can always tell when someone gets caught lying," Tamar stated in a tweetgram, "they get quiet as a chuch mouse. #onlytrustJesus." Oh and that's not all. Tamar continued to AIR OUT the situation on social media.  We don't know who got FIRED, but I'm sure it will come out really soon. BUT WHAT'S WRONG with CONTRACTS, even between friends. That way business stays business and friendships stay friendships. Well it's finally coming to the big screen and 'Entertainment Tonight' has a 1st Look at the reboot. This version stars Oscar winner, Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz and Oscar-nominee, Quvenzhane Wallis! This take on the Broadway classic has a TWIST! If you RECALL the title role was SUPPOSED to be played by Willow Smith, but due to the delays in production, Willow AGED out of the part. The upcoming fourth installment in the Transformers franchise is said to take place four years after the climactic battle between the Autobots and Decepticons that pretty much leveled Chicago. The sequel reunites Wahlberg with his Pain & Gain director and is set to launch a new trilogy featuring an all-new cast of characters with the sole leftover from the first three films being Peter Cullen, who returns to voice Autobot leader Optimus Prime. "We really are going to do a reboot there, and what that's going to be we don't even know yet," producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura had explained in an interview with MTV.
