Beestroh, real name Ronald Robinson was involved in a SHOOTOUT outside the club after the Diddy-hosted, Rick Ross album release party. He has been charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault, and could face JAIL TIME. Allegedly he opened fire on two uniformed police officers. Hot 107.9 has been relatively QUIET about the situation, but some new details have surfaced! Whoever can tell me where that reference came from gets a PRIZE! Inbox me. Anyways, moving along, WHO KNEW that there was BEEF between R&B crooners August Alsina and Trey Songz? It was just all good when the two collaborated on 'I Luv It' remix, where he Trey and Chris Brown got almost PORNOGRAPHIC on the SEXED UP sequel to Alsina's hit. Just recently Alsina revealed to Rap-Up TV that he "Don't really Fuck wit Trey, right now!" WHAT?!! He explains the 'beef', somewhat, but before we get to that, Trey and Alsina are basically like the same people,almost.    SO... Where did this BEEF come from if they were COOL ENOUGH to collab on a remix not long ago? Apparently, the two are at odds over a show or a performance gone bad, where Trey was FLEXING HIS EGO and it rubbed Alsina the WRONG WAY! He details the ROOT of their 'BEEF' HERE: Isn't it FUNNY when R&B guys 'BEEF' with each other. 'BEEFING' period is so 2001, but when R&B guys go after each other it can sometimes be laughable. R&B is supposed to be about 'LOVE' and these guys are coming of like rappers. BUT ANYWAYS... Beef is good if you after someone BIGGER, HOTTER, FASTER and RICHER THAN YOU,, so in essence by talking about you, it give the lesser of the beef participant some extra shine. Do you think this is what's at hand. Both are kinda on the same level. Trey has a bit more albums and recognition than Alsina, but has he paid enough dues to be FLEXING on a NEW JACK? HMMM, and on the other side of the coin, is Alsina just getting to all up in his feelings about the matter? EITHER WAY, hopefully the BOYS can SQUASH their disagreement and move on. [details] Posted: 04 Mar 2014 01:14 AM PST  Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season, which begins on Ash Wednesday. The day is sometimes referred to as Shrove Tuesday, from the word shrive, meaning "confess." Mardi Gras, like Christmas, is a whole season - not just one day. That being said, Fat Tuesday is the biggest day of celebration, and the date it falls on moves around. You'll find that Fat Tuesday can be any Tuesday between Feb. 3 and March 9. Carnival celebration starts on Jan. 6, the Twelfth Night (feast of Epiphany), and picks up speed through midnight on Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday. How do you know which Tuesday it will be? Ash Wednesday is always 46 days before Easter, and Fat Tuesday is always the day before Ash Wednesday. Easter can fall on any Sunday from March 23 to April 25, with the exact date to coincide with the first Sunday after the full moon following a spring equinox. There you have it. Voila! If you're still confused, get out a calendar that has the holidays printed on it. Fat Tuesday is always the day before Ash Wednesday!
