[details] Posted: 14 Mar 2014 04:29 PM PDT  Just when we thought Chris Brown was on the MEND..he F*CKS it up and gets hauled off to JAIL today! Find out WHY! [via TMZ]  Chris Brown is on his way to jail right now, because he violated a judge's order by getting booted from the rehab facility where he's been living for nearly 4 months ... TMZ has learned. The judge in the Rihanna beating case ordered Chris to live in the Malibu rehab facility for 90 days to get anger management therapy, and he completed the stint earlier this month. BUT ... at the last court hearing, the judge modified things and ordered Chris to stay in the facility while the Washington D.C. assault case ran its course. The deal was this ... if Chris left rehab, he would go directly to jail. Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Brown was thrown out of the rehab facility this morning, for violating "internal rules." We do not know precisely what Chris did, but we're told it did not involve violence or drugs. Sources tell TMZ ... Chris was caught having "an inappropriate relationship" with a female worker at the beginning of the month, but that is NOT why he was thrown out today. As you recall, Chris was previously thrown out of a different facility for throwing a rock at his mom's car window. Chris was picked up by L.A. County Sheriff's deputies a short time ago and is on his way to jail. I was ROOTING for you CHRIS we were ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!!!!!   |
| Did #KellyRowland get DROPPED from Universal!?? Her name REMOVED from artist roster! [details] Posted: 14 Mar 2014 12:54 PM PDT  Well it wouldn't be SURPRISING, but did Kelly Rowland get DROPPED from Universal/Republic!? It is common knowledge that her latest disc UNDERPERFORMED--to date she has only moved upwards of 215k copies---WORLDWIDE! OUCH! And NOWADAYS its all about the UNITS SOLD. 'Talk A Good Game' was a SOLID effort, but saw little to no PRESS, or fanfare. And the singles were not that strong nor were there any major promo push to get the music to the masses.  Speculation on Rowland's status with Universal began when recently her name was REMOVED from the Universal/Republic website. Now that in itself is not a TRUE INDICATOR that she has been DROPPED...but that coupled with WEAK SALES--AGAIN makes the writing on the wall THAT MORE CLEAR. So how could a 'Destiny's Child' alum be without a DEAL?? It's almost unfathomable, but it happens. In my opinion the TIMING of 'TAGG' was all wrong. With the buzz single, 'Ice' with Lil' Wayne, then the 1st real single, 'Kisses Down Low' there was too much of a DELAY before an album was anywhere in SIGHT.  And though 'Kisses Down Low' was a marginal hit obtaining'GOLD' status, it was not a HUGE crossover hit that would carry a project to the release of the disc. Then the much talked about 'Dirty Laundry' reignited the 'TAGG' flame, but the video was ---BORING- for lack of a better word and came too far after the initial EXCITEMENT surrounding the single. THEN Kelly decides to take a JUDGES SEAT at the now DEFUNCT US version of 'The X-Factor' in the middle of a MAJOR ALBUM RELEASE! Who does that? When you should be out on the road promoting the album and performing and the whole 9-yards, she was stuck behind a judges table. Was it worth it? Obviously not, there was little to no TALK about her addition to the panel, and as we see now, a last ditch effort for the TV show to garner some ratings went awry.  IS IT THE END for Kelly as a SOLO ARTIST!?? Absolutely not. 'TAGG' had/has very VIABLE singles and GREAT CONTENT, but if you don't promote it, it's like locking in a safe and only you have the key--NO ON TAKES NOTICE but you.If she is indeed DROPPED from Universal--some label WILL pick her up for sure. SO what they need to do next time is get an ALL-STAR writing/production team in place like they did for 'TAGG' -BUT, Kelly and the label have to push the RECORDS and DELIVER STRONG SINGLES to the fans. OTHERWISE, we will get a REPEAT of 'TAGG' and as witnessed by the 215k release--not many people were 'talking her game'. WE HEART Kelly Rowland over here. We just want her to garner the just due recognition she DESERVES! She is a FORMIDABLE act, that has just not met her TRUE potential yet as a solo artist. Universal is hoping that audiences will shake their money makers at movie theaters this summer. The studio has set Tate Taylor's James Brown movie, "Get On Up," for release in August. The film's first trailer arrived on Thursday, promising all the singing, dancing, screaming and crying that's expected from traditional music biopics. Taylor, who last directed "The Help" to a Best Picture nomination, has an all-star cast in line for this one including Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Dan Aykroyd and, in the role of Brown, Chadwick Boseman. In this PIECE, we get to see who the 'Hardest Working Man in Show biz' really is! What MADE JAMES BROWN, the ICON that he is? It will all be revealed! I was a BIT SKEPTICAL when it was first announced that Chadwick Boseman was cast over other actors with more music backgrounds, but after watching this trailer, Boseman NAILS IT! YouTube duo Superfruit couldn't decide which song off of Beyoncé's new album they wanted to cover, so they just decided to do the whole thing in 5 minutes. The results are spectacular. AMAZING VOICES, right? IF YOU close your EYES and LISTEN, they actually sound like her in PARTS! WOW! I am sure they will appear on 'Ellen' soon.... I am sure Beyonce is SMILING at this!!! We reported that Williams had been seeing Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue son of the President of Equatorial Guinea, but those rumors have been denied by Mangue's publicist. ALSO, Mangue's REAL girlfriend has come out the woodworks to PUBLICLY CLAIM her man and to let Porsha know WHO is the 'WIFEY' for real!  Mangue's girlfriend is actress Tamala Jones from ABC's 'Castle'. And JONES has a few words for Porsha:  SO, it APPEARS that the CHARADE was just a PR stunt to garner some ATTENTION. It would've been a GREAT storyline for RHOA season 7. Williams has issued a statement about the state of her LOVE LIFE: The TMZ report is completely false! I do not know Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, nor have I ever dated him.So it appears that Williams will be BACK down at the West End Mall parking lot selling packs of her 'human' hair line out of the trunk of the Benz Kordell LET her keep.
