'Scandal' is back, as is 'Grey's Anatomy' and ShondaLand presents the latest THRILLER, 'How To Get Away With Murder'! In a new promo for the "Shondaland Thursday" lineup, stars Ellen Pompeo, Kerry Washington and Viola Davis get together with Rhimes to tease the new night of drama. "It is very daring. If you like great drama, that's where you come," Rhimes says in the promo of her programming block. "It's going to be an edge-of-your-seat three-hour block of time on Thursday nights." Washington, warning newcomer Davis and likely fans of what's to come, says, "Buckle up!" | Posted: 01 Aug 2014 09:44 PM PDT  Indiana Pacers star Paul George suffered a horrendous and serious leg injury during the 4th quarter of the Team USA scrimmage last night! George's right leg landed awkwardly against the base of the basket while he came down from the attempted block.  *GRAPHIC FOOTAGE*  Coach Mike Krzyzewski announced that the remainder of the Team USA scrimmage was cancelled soon after George was carted off the floor with a broken leg. The NBA commisioner, Adam Silver makes a statement about George's injury!  Let's keep Paul George lifted up in PRAYER!   |

[details] Posted: 01 Aug 2014 09:28 PM PDT  We have to give a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to OUR ATLANTA HAWKS, Kyle Korver and Paul Millsap for being chosen for Team USA!!! After producing an All-Star season in his first year with the Atlanta Hawks, former Louisiana Tech great Paul Millsap has received an invitation to join the Team USA basketball roster! Of those 19, he will attempt to claim a spot on the final 12-man roster which will represent their country at the inaugural FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain starting Aug. 30. "I'm very excited about being added to the USA Men's National Team roster," Millsap said in an official statement on Sunday. "I look forward to practicing with and competing against some of the NBA's best for the honor of representing our country in Spain." He currently ranks seventh all-time in program history in total points (1,708) and second in total rebounds (1,172).  Congrats are in order for Kyle Korver as well! Korver is a deadly three-point assassin — he finished with the best three-point shooting percentage in the NBA last season — and would be equally as lethal overseas from behind the arc, maybe even more so because the FIBA three-point line is a full foot-and-a-half closer to the basket than the NBA's three-point line. | NOT SO FAST! #RemyMa's RELEASE from PRISON DELAYED and guess WHY!? [details] Posted: 01 Aug 2014 12:53 PM PDT  Former Terror Squad member, Remy Ma was SCHEDULED to be released from prison on yesterday after serving 7 years for a shooting incident stemming back to 2007. But that HOMECOMING has been delayed and we have the reason WHY!  Prison is supposed to teach you a lesson, right? Well apparently it hasn't taught Remy Ma anything. She was scheduled to be released from prison on yesterday, but according to All Hip Hop, Remy got into a fight with a fellow inmate on July 21 which landed her in solitary confinement for her what she thought was going to be her last week in prison. Then MTV found out that Remy's interview with Angie Martinez may have violated the prison's -3rd party calling rule. They say she may have used one of her permitted 15 allowed phone numbers to be connect with Angie for the infamous interview, which basically is a 3-way call. Prisoners are not allowed 3-way calls. So it appears that she will be cooling her heels a bit longer in the clink. NO word on when she will be released, but the few fans that are still riding with her will have to wait a bit longer. Word from the curb is that she had dates and interviews and appearances lined up after her release, but all those are on hold as of now.UNTIL then, enjoy the INTERVIEW that may have cost Remy her freedom: In the words of Kevin Hart, you gonna LEARN TODAY! www.TheGamutt.com  |
