I guess MOTHERHOOD has not softened her BEEF with NEMESIS, Nicki Minaj. Just a DAY after releasing a few BARS 'dissing' Nicki on her 'Flawless' remix, Kim drops another BOMBSHELL. Well, let's say firecracker for now. Kim took to Instagram to UNVEIL the album art for her single 'Identity Thief' from the OFT-DELAYED 'Hardcore 2k' mixtape that we've been hearing about all year. Granted we give Kim credit for taking 9 months off fro having a baby, but is the MIXTAPE ever going to DROP!? Anyways, back to the TOPIC. On the cover art, we see a PIC of NICKI MINAJ in a GREEN WIG!  Kim captioned the post: Be careful what you wish for… #HardCoreMixtapeUpNext #TheQueenIsBack #QueenBee ???????? We are assuming Kim is referencing Nicki Minaj calling herself the 'QUEEN OF RAP' of Beyonce's 'Flawless' remix. Oh but wait, we have the SONG TOO... LET'S TAKE a LISTEN, SHALL WE? Actually its a DECENT FLOW. Sounds like vintage Kim. The HOOK could use some work. Maybe replace the NO NAME rapper on the hook with a KNOWN STAR RAPPER. But the CONTENT is what's eating me. Yes, we know that Nicki was inspired by Kim. This is a given. Why are we still rapping about the same thing!? Did James Brown GRIPE that USHER, MICHAEL JACKSON, and MANY MORE honed their skills on his TALENT? EVERYBODY is INSPIRED by SOMEBODY. Why are we beating a dead horse. Kim was THAT CHICK back in her HEYDAY, but times CHANGE and new artist come and go. WHY BE SALTY about it FOREVER? I mean the fact that she is releasing a MIXTAPE speaks volumes in itself. Nicki is on her 3rd FULL ALBUM--WITH a MAJOR LABEL, MAJOR BUDGET, MAJOR BACKING. In 2014, Minaj is WINNING. HANDS DOWN. Taking SWIPES at someone when you are not on the same level anymore makes you look even LESS relevant. It makes you look a bit DESPERATE. Don't give me WRONG, We HEART Lil' Kim and her legacy of hits and her CONTRIBUTION to HIP HOP and to POP CULTURE PERIOD. But when are we going to give this BEEF a REST!? In this day and time, to get back in the limelight, it'd be better look to LINK UP with the NEW JACKS that were inspired by you than to try to COMPETE with them when you are not on the same playing field anymore. So So Def head honcho, Jermaine Dupri has been AXED and Mariah's manager amid DISMAL SALES of her latest project 'Me..I Am Mariah..'. JD confirmed the split in a statement to Billboard. "I'm a very hands-on person when it comes to my work," said J.D. "I put my all into every project. But when I'm not allowed to do what I do, then I know it's time for me to move on. Mariah and I enjoy working together and will continue to make great music together in the future."  Dupri has produced some of Carey's biggest hits including "We Belong Together" and "Always Be My Baby," and served as the executive producer of her latest album, Me. Get the DETAILS after the JUMP! #FIXITJESUS Monday tensions ESCALATED resulting in Dawn KNOCKING the SHIT out of Aubrey! TMZ reports that bandmates Dawn Richards and Aubrey O'Day got physical during a disagreement at an L.A. studio on Monday, resulting in Dawn slugging Aubrey in the head with a closed fist. DK's third member, Shannon Bex, was also there and tried unsuccessfully to break up the fight. O'Day has SINCE filed a BATTERY REPORT!  Now this is not the 1st time there has been DRAMA in the GROUP! Remember back in 2009 when Diddy DISBANDED the GIRL FOURESOME on LIVE TELEVISION. He literally FIRED all of the girls withthe exception of Dawn. [video] Posted: 06 Aug 2014 12:59 PM PDT  Transgender actress, Laverne Cox of 'Orange is the New Black' has never been one to MINCE WORDS. On a recent appearance on 'CBS This Morning', Cox had to get Oprah's bestie Gayle King IN CHECK over her TRANSGENDER terminology!  The Emmy-nominated "Orange is the New Black" actress — the first openly transgender woman to receive that honor — appeared on "CBS This Morning" Tuesday to promote the show and her other projects. When co-host Gayle King started her section of the interview by saying "So, you were born a boy…", Cox quickly corrected her by saying that she was "assigned" a gender at birth, but she always felt like she was a girl. Check the INTERESTING CLIP here!  It seems as if King and her co-anchors were FASCINATED by Cox's sexuality because they HARPED on questions about her orientation throughout the interview. Questions that Cox probably has answered over and over again in the past. Cox steered the conversation back to her acting and her time on 'OITNB'. She spoke of her twin brother, singer M. Lamar, who portrayed the pre-trans version of Cox's "OITNB" character, Sophia, in Season 1 flashbacks."My brother's the first person to say that 'you're a brilliant actor and you should be acting,'" she said. So just how did M. Lamar get cast as Sophia's pre-trans self? "There was a running joke in the writer's room: 'We need to find a transgender woman who can act,'" said Cox. "And when they hired me they had no idea that I had a twin brother." Seems like a 'WIN-WIN' situation for the casting department, right. Watch for more from Laverne Cox on season 2 of 'OITNB' and in her other upcoming projects.
