Scott's 'INCIDENT" with BET over wardrobe at the Pre-show for BET AWARDS 13, the NETWORK has issued a STATEMENT about the CONFUSION! See what BET had to say.....  In a statement issued by BET the network says that it "embraces global diversity in all its forms and seeks to maintain an inclusive workforce and a culture that values all perspectives and backgrounds" and blames the incident on mis-communication from both parties. That's about as CLOSE to an APOLOGY as I think they are going to give. THOUGHTS?? www.thegamutt.com  |

[Open Letter] Posted: 02 Jul 2013 03:07 PM PDT   See what B.Scott had to say about BET's BAN on his APPEARANCE for their pre-show coverage: BET reached out to me to be the Style Stage Correspondent for the 2013 BET Awards 106 and Park Pre-Show. I've previously appeared on BET's 106 and Park twice. On both occasions, there was never an issue with my appearance or how I chose to express myself. Ever. From B.Scott's vantage point it seemed that there was at least ONE person that was not happy with his look and thus the rest of the issues SNOWBALLED from there. When they hired him, I am sure they knew of his persona, and it seems unfair to have an issue with wardrobe, make-up etc, after Scott had SUBMITTED his looks to the powers that be. But sometimes it just takes ONE person to disagree to cause confusion. I am quite sure BET will be issuing an APOLOGY soon. www.thegamutt.com  |
