Kordell and Porsha Stewart of enthralled in a NASTY divorce right now, but the two had still been living together..WELL UNTIL NOW.   Kordell has to PAY Porsha alimony to the tune of $5000 a month for the next three months, he must also give all of her belongings to her and pay her MOVING and STORAGE expenses. Not too bad for Kordell's PIECE OF MIND of knowing he doesn't have to SHARE a roof with her any more, right? The final DECREE is not set yet, but this is the LATEST. Where do we start, HMMMMM WHY NOT START with the GOOD: The GOOD for this year's award's show came in more than one form. The introduction of the whole 'BET Experience' was a BRAVE and BOLD MOVE! It offers the fans NUMEROUS outlets to see, feel and HEAR what is the ESSENCE of BET. ANd when i say 'Essence' it was reminiscent of the Essence Fesival where there are numerous VENUES and attractions going on SIMULTANEOUSLY offering something for EVERYBODY to enjoy! That was a GENIUS to do.  As for the SHOW, the Charlie Wilson tribute was SPOT ON! That coul've gone on for another 30 minutes and we STILL would've been ENTERTAINED! Also, Ciara's performance was EPIC! CiCi finally has some HITS-tru HITS under her belt and she returned to the ESSENCE of what we all LOVED about her--THE PERFORMANCE! She is a GREAT ENTERTAINER and she LIGHT THE STAGE UP! It was good to see Ciara return to FORM! And Uncle Charlie is TIMELESS. Ever the ENTERTAINER that spans many GENERATIONS! Who DON'T know a GAP Band or Charlie Wilson song. And like he said he is STILL making hits! GET MORE of my DISH after the JUMP! Did I forget Kendrick Lamar and Erykah BADU!! That was a GENIUS PAIRING!!!  It's OKAY that Kendrick Lamar ALWAYS looks like a 5th Grader on the 1st day of school with his LIL'BOY Outfits, but its cool.. BITCH don't KILL HIS VIBE! lol. IJS.  There were not enough SURPRISES for me like in year's past. It would have been good to see some of the GREATS from the past link up with the NEW jacks a bit more, but that's just my OPINION. And I know a lot of people PANNED Chris Tucker, but I think he was ok. He could've used a bit more MATERIAL, but he was ok. MY BAD and you can hate if you want was MARIAH CAREY's LIP SYNCH! We know she can sing. She stood STILL in what looked like a JEWELRY BOX and lip synced!? No DANCING, NO WALKING, NO CHOREOGRAPHY, why the need for LIP SYNCING???  Well, at least she LOOKED GREAT! Also another BAD, STYLIST, find out what other celebs are wearing so that your that everybody is not wearing the SAME THING. Dj Drama, Brandon T. Jackson and at least another person all had on that same YELLOW and BLACK Versace shirt. Was it on SALE? I'm just asking, because that SHIRT was POPPING UP EVERYWHERE. J.Cole had it on too on the red carpet.    And back to J.Cole. I was waiting for TLC to come out for his 'Crooked Smile' set, but NO DICE! Guess that was WISHFUL THINKING. My confusing was R.Kelly's RAMBLINGS, and 2 Chainz outfit.  How in the HELL did Kellz get that ENSEMBLE through TSA?  LOL. As a whole, BET did a GREAT JOB of putting on an ACTION-PACKED entertaining SHOW...again. But NEXT year, make sure you get at least a FEW of the HEAVY HITTERS to show up? Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z, somebody? It best describes Tamar as a person." It's been 13 years since her debut, 'Tamar' dropped, can you BELIEVE that? But 'Love And War' will DROP........  'Love And War' will drop on Septemebr 3rd!!! Scott was asked to TONE DOWN his look in order to host The BET Awards Pre-show with Adrienne Bailon on yesterday. Scott who is known for his ANDROGYNOUS look and attire was asked NOT to be 'over the top' in his dress and make-up for the show. For those that watched, we saw him ABSENT at the first moments of the broadcast because apparently he had to do a wardrobe change before making it to the red carpet!    B.Scott has recieved some SUPPRT on Twitter for this alleged BAN! I am ALL for people being able to express themselves however they feel. BUT, and there is a BIG BUT, if an EMPLOYER has a 'code of conduct' ie a dress code in place for you to be employed there, you have to FOLLOW IT. It's like at a bank, the employer expects their tellers, associates to present 'business attire' to look professional. And by accepting the job, you ae expected to follow the DRESS CODE.  So the outcry is a bit 'over done' because I am sure he accepted the check that BET gave him for his SERVICES, right? IJS. www.thegamutt.com  |
