Let's talk about another BLONDE though--BRITNEY JEAN SPEARS. Spears has been churning out the HITS for YEARS, but just RECENTLY some of her UNEHNANCED VOCALS LEAKED onto the net and let's just say--IT WASN'T PRETTY! It wasn't even sitting in the seat NEXT to PRETTY. Not even in the same ZIP CODE as pretty. I think you get the DRIFT. Listen for your SELF! On July 2, the unedited vocal version of Spears' track "Alien," off of her most recent album, "Britney Jean," leaked. As the video picked up steam, track producer William Orbit posted a statement Monday, July 7, explaining that the track is a vocal warm-up session, not Spears' final take. "I'd like to affirm that ANY singer when first at the mic at the start of a long session can make a multitude of vocalisations in order to get warmed up," Orbit wrote. "Warming up is essential if you're a pro, as it is with a runner doing stretches, and it takes a while to do properly. I've heard all manner of sounds emitted during warm-ups. The point is that it is not supposed to be shared with millions of listeners.  "A generous singer will put something down the mic to help the engineer get their systems warmed up and at the right level, maybe whilst having a cup of herb tea and checking through lyrics before the session really kicks off. It's not expected to be a 'take.'" You BUY THAT?? It doesn't even sound like she was in the same BOOTH as the engineer! She sounds TERRIBLE! Let's be THANKFUL for AUTO-TUNE. In this CASE we see WHY so many live by it as a performer. In this INSTANCE the ALIEN is DYING and we hear it CRY! But we HEART Britney here at THE GAMUTT. MC's latest effort, 'Me-I Am Mariah...' moved only 58K units its first weeks and many setbacks, name changes, and SINGLES released. The LOWEST NON-HOLIDAY 1st week showing in her ILLUSTRIOUS history. But is she FRETTING over it? DARLING NO, according to her long-time collaborator and manager, Jermaine Dupri. "I actually feel like it's probably one of her best albums she's ever made," he told Rap-Up TV at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. "I'm excited to see where the album ends up. I tell a lot of people, this era of music and this genre, they don't understand records that come out small and sell a lot of records." Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez were caught in MID LIP-LOCK while vacationing in Sardinia this past weekend!  The surprise couple couldn't keep their hands off of each other and weren't afraid to show off some serious PDA in front of their pals. The stars kissed and cuddled as they relaxed on a sailboat and took dips in the ocean throughout the outing. At one point, the 26-year-old actor even helped his leading lady onto the boat and fetched her a towel. CUTE!  RAMEY/AKM-GSI Their bodies are definitely BEACH READY!!!
