The Aussie blonde bombshell MC just made HISTORY by being the 1st female rapper to have her single atop the Hot 100 charts for 6 weeks! The Charli XCX-assisted single "Fancy" is RIDING HIGH and has been been for a WHOPPING 6 consecutive weeks! According to Billboard, she 'KNOCKS' Lil' Kim out the box, who spent five weeks at No. 1 with her star-studded collaboration "Lady Marmalade" in 2001. Other notable female rappers on the list include Lauryn Hill, who spent two weeks at No. 1 with her 1998 single "Doo Wop (That Thing)," and Shawnna, who enjoyed one week at the top with 2003′s Ludacris-assisted hit "Stand Up." I am surprised Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass isn't somewhere on this list. But this just proves there is room for more than ONE FEMALE MC to rule the charts. Iggy took to TWITTER to share her EXCITEMENT!
