#Nickelodeon CANCELS 'Sam & Cat' amid BACKSTAGE DRAMA! #ArianaGrande makes a STATEMENT! [details]

Curtain call for Nickelodeon's 'Sam And Cat' starring Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy. The network has decided to CANCEL the popular show amid backstage DRAMA! Ariana makes a STATEMENT as well! Get the DETAIL and the REAL REASON the show was AXED!




Months after the Viacom-owned cable network put the Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande live-action comedy on a lengthy production hiatus following behind-the-scenes conflicts, it will not be moving forward with another season.

Nickelodeon's decision not to move forward with a sophomore season comes after the 21-year-old McCurdy made headlines earlier this year following reported salary issues and racy photos leaked of the actress on the web in March. She failed to appear at the network's Kids' Choice Awards, where Sam & Cat took home the TV comedy prize, while Grande won TV comedy actress and Schneider was honored with a lifetime achievement award.

McCurdy and Grande co-star in Sam & Cat, which was given a giant 40-episode season-one order last July after only four episodes. A spinoff of Victorious and iCarly, the series follows Sam (McCurdy) and Cat (Grande) as they become best friends and unlikely roommates who start a babysitting service.

Grande made the following statement on Facebook:

So the news is out about Sam & Cat. I felt it wasn't my place to make any sort of announcement so I kept quiet until now. I want to thank Nickelodeon for making a childhood dream of mine come true, for being a family to me, for being so accommodating and supportive of my multitasking with my music career, and for of course introducing me to many of my fans however many years ago. I want to thank Dan Schneider for allowing me to play such a special, beautiful character who I hid behind for so long. What I mean by that is when I was younger, people loved Cat so much I used to pretend to be more like her. It took me a long time to be brave enough to separate myself and show people how different we actually are.... I think that's honestly because I admire her so much. Her appreciation for life and everybody she encounters. Her passion and genuine excitement for the little things that most people dread like school projects and work. She always saw negative obstacles as opportunities to make things good.
I will always hold Cat near and dear to my heart and appreciate her help in my personal growth from teenager to adult. I know she seems like a simple, daft character (and she is) but she played such a huge part in my life I just wanted to express my appreciation for her and share some of the things I love most about her. I think a lot of people could take a page out of her book...... she wouldn't judge anybody by their appearance.... she believed the best in people.... she wasn't afraid of anything or anybody.... she never let people's judgements hold her back from doing what she wanted, acting how she wanted, dressing how she wanted wanted, dying her hair however she wanted... she never held back her enthusiasm or joy for fear of appearing some sort of way or for fear of jinxing the good that is real (which is something I personally do all the time but I wish I could shake that and celebrate every little thing like she does).
One of my favorite things about Cat was that she never lost her sense of wonder. As we grow up we become more and more jaded and fearful of how we come across. We hold back a little more, protect ourselves a little more and although Cat goes through the same ridicule as anybody else does growing up, she never changed or lost her childlike wonder. To me that's the bravest, most special thing about her. She actually reminds me a lot of Frankie in that way.
So I know a lot of people will think this is a lot for some 'dumb' kids show character.... but to me she is actually a lot smarter, stronger and braver than all the rest of us.
Hopefully we'll find out one day if Cat & Robbie ever got married. If I had any say in the story from here on out I'd make sure they were happily married with sweet, eccentric, Jewish, artificially red headed babies. Cat would constantly find herself reminding Aunt Sam to leave the butter sock and other dangerous weapons out of the house. They'd live down the street from Jade and Beck, also happily married with purple and black haired, pale, grungy, beautiful, goth babies. 
Thank you to the cast and crew who I spent almost every day with for a good 4 or 5 years. Thanks for lighting us beautifully, shooting us beautifully, making the most incredible props, yelling at us when we were running late to set, keeping us on track and most of all for making it such a positive work environment. The guys behind the scenes couldn't have been more pleasant or hard working and I appreciate them for that so much. I can't imagine that there is a more pleasant or professional crew in Hollywood.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to a true friend of mine, Dan Schneider. I will never take these memories or lessons learned for granted.
Lastly, thank you to my fans who have been with me since all of this started... you are the most loyal, dedicated and continuously loving supporters I could ever imagine. We've been through so much and you are still here... and we've got a long way to go. 
Thank you for believing in me, accepting me and loving me. I love you forever.

The FANS will miss the show, but I'm sure Ariana Grande is not WORRIED too much.  Her singing career has reached new heights and she is set to make her DEBUT APPEARANCE at the VMAS in August and her sophomore album drops 2 days later.. so SHE'S WINNING, right???

It was TURN UP time for sure as the 'On The Run' Tour made a stop in New Jersey recently!  Beyonce and Jay-Z personally invited the QUEEN BEE, Lil' Kim to the show!  This marks Lil' Kim's 1st POST PREGNANCY sighting since giving birth to the adorable Royal Reign!


Beyonce paid HOMAGE to the Queen of Rap by striking Kim's ICONIC 'SQUAT' pose that she made famous back in the 90's!!!





Kim wasn't alone.  In tow was 'Love & Hip Hop's, Yandy and Kimbella.


Lil' Kim looks GOOD....she just dropped a BABY.. !!!!?

It's a WRAP FOLKS!! Germany DEFEATS Argentina for their 4th WORLD CUP title thanks to late rally by Mario Götze!!!



For almost two hours, it seemed that Germany and Argentina would have to settle the World Cup final with penalty kicks.

But then, almost out of nowhere, backup forward Mario Götze settled a cross and beat Sergio Romero far post -- the first goal allowed by Argentina in some seven hours of game time -- to lift Germany to its fourth World Cup title.

Jenni 'JWOWW' Farley and Roger Mathews welcomed their baby girl on Sunday, July 13 at 12:49p.

"Jenni and Roger are so excited to welcome the newest member to the family, Meilani Alexandra Mathews to the world weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz.," the "Snooki & JWOWW" star's rep told MTV News. "Meilani and her parents are doing great and are happy and healthy. Meilani is already looking to trade her baby bottle for barbells."


MTV, meanwhile, also feted the happy news, saying in a statement: "We're fist pumping in celebration of Jenni "JWOWW" Farley and Roger Mathews' new baby girl Meilani Alexandra Mathews. We're so excited for the new parents and to welcome the newest member to the MTV family."

Why they always MESSING with MARIAH.  Allegedly some unretouched photos of Mariah Carey have LEAKED and let's just say, PHOTOSHOP goes a LONG WAY.


Jezebel has now somehow gotten their hands on Terry Richardson's unretouched photos of Mariah Carey, taken for the summer issue of Wonderland.




What do you guys think?  Retouching is NOTHING NEW, particularly for FASHION MAGS< but do you think these are REAL???  I mean MC is of a certain age and has had 2 children...so I mean.  Everybody needs a little HELP here and there.....

I just have the FEELING that we have not seen the LAST of The ARSENIO HALL Show.  Fans were SHOCKED when we heard 'The Arsenio Hall' show had been CANCELED after only one season of it's RETURN!  We need to BRING THIS SHOW BACK!!!

The ARSENIO HALL show is the HOME of so many LEGENDARY MOMENTS!! Remember Hall's 1994 farewell when HIP HOP literally TOOK OVER his STAGE.  We had Mc Lyte, Yo Yo., Guru, CL Smooth, KRS-1, Tribe Called Quest and MORE..it gets NO BETTER!!!

On The Mend! #TracyMorgan discharged from REHAB! Sues #WalMart! [details]

Good news for actor/comedian Tracy Morgan.  He has been discharged from rehab and is on his way HOME to complete his rehabilitation!  This is GREAT NEWS indeed for friends, fans and FAMILY of the popular entertainer! Not so good nes for Wal-Mart, because Morgan has SUED the CONGLOMERATE for their part in the acfcident that injured him and killed his friend.



Tracy Morgan was released from a rehabilitation center to finish his recovery at home from a New Jersey crash in June that left him critically injured and killed a fellow passenger, his spokesman said on Saturday.

The announcement came just days after he sued Bentonville, Arkansas-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc in a New Jersey federal court, alleging the retailer knew or should have known its truck driver, Kevin Roper, was not in compliance with federal regulations designed to combat driver fatigue.



"He asked me to pass along his sincerest gratitude to everyone who has helped him get to this point. He would also appreciate some privacy during this crucial point in his recovery," spokesman Lewis Kay said in a statement.

The statement added that Morgan, best known for starring in NBC's "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live," will undergo a rigorous outpatient regimen to complete his recovery.

On Thursday, the actor filed a lawsuit claiming that Wal-Mart truck driver Roper commuted more than 700 miles from his Georgia home to a company distribution facility in Delaware before beginning his work shift, and that he had been awake for over 24 hours prior to the crash.

Roper was charged last month with vehicular homicide and assault-by-auto after prosecutors said he rear-ended the limo bus Morgan and his entourage were riding in during the June 7 crash, near Cranbury, New Jersey. He pleaded not guilty.

Morgan was riding along the New Jersey Turnpike with several people including his assistant Jeffrey Millea and comedian Ardley Fuqua Jr, who were also injured in the crash and are co-plaintiffs in the suit. The crash killed comedian James McNair, 62, of Peekskill, New York.

"We are deeply sorry that one of our trucks was involved," Wal-Mart said in a statement. "As we've said, we're cooperating fully in the ongoing investigation."

"We're committed to doing the right thing for all involved," the statement said.

Federal investigators said last month that Roper was driving roughly 20 miles per hour over the speed limit just before the crash.

Morgan and the other plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages and attorneys' fees.
