Pharrell even issued a statement about the 'lawsuit'. See HERE if you missed that. A day later it seems that Will.I.Am. is not really suing Pharrell, he is just protecting what he thinks is rightfully HIS! Let me explain, well better yet, let Will.I.Am explain.... Check out the new TWIST in this possible LITIGATION: "will.i.am is not suing Pharrell Williams. What will.i.am has done is what any trademark owner must do to protect and maintain a trademark. This is a run-of-the-mill trademark dispute that has been going on since late last year. "In order to avoid weakening or losing his trademark, will.i.am has an obligation under trademark law to monitor and defend his trademarks against confusingly similar marks. will.i.am has registered several trademarks, including 'I AM', which is also emphasised in, and a significant element of, his professional name. We think their proposed trademark is too close to our registered and common law trademarks. They disagree. We hope to work out a sensible compromise that will allow both parties to move forward without unnecessary acrimony." So in actuality, he is simply PROTECTING his brand--and it's not a 'lawsuit' really, just making sure his TRADEMARK hold up against Pharrell's new venture.  Pharrell's new creative venture, "i am OTHER," could "dilute" the "i am" brand for Black Eyed Peas musician Will.i.am, according to a suit reportedly brought against the N.E.R.D rapper. Hmmm. SEMANTICS...Sounds like a LEGAL TERMS to me, so in essence an 'on the low' Lawsuit kinda thing... HMMMM... | #PrinceJackson RECALLS the day his Father #MichaelJackson went into Cardiac Arrest on the Stand! Posted: 26 Jun 2013 11:47 PM PDT  Prince Jackson, son of The King of Pop, took the stand in the wrongful death case against AEG. While on the stand, Prince recalls the day his father died!!  Prince Jackson just testified ... Dr. Conrad Murray informed them of Michael Jackson's passing by glibly announcing, "Sorry kids. Dad's dead." Prince has taken the stand in the Jackson family's wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, saying all he and his siblings could do was cry after hearing the news. Prince said he recalled being in the sitting room of the Holmby Hills mansion when his father went into cardiac arrest on June 25th, 2009. Prince said he heard screams and Murray summoned him upstairs, where Prince saw his father "half hanging out of the bed" while Murray administered CPR. He said Paris was hit the hardest by her dad's death, screaming that she "wanted her daddy" while Murray was trying to resuscitate him. Prince said, "She was my dad's princess.
