| Bubbling Under: #Lorde- 'Royals' [video] Posted: 08 Jan 2014 10:33 PM PST  It's hard to believe that the New Zealand born Ella Yelich-O'Connor, who is better known as Lorde, is only 16!? With talent like hers, and an infectious SMILE to boot, she is SURE to TAKE the POP GAME by storm.  The New Zealander inked a development deal with Universal Records when she was just 12 and spent the last four years writing and releasing her first EP, The Love Club, shooting a stunning video for her single "Royals" (watch above), which sat atop New Zealand's music chart for months, and, basically, preparing to take over the world. Lorde is 'BUBBLING UNDER's ARTIST of the moment, because before LONG, she will be a HOUSEHOLD name. Even HIP-HOP has embraced her with MMG 'Boss' Rick Ross lending his vocals to the REMIX of her #1 single, "Royal". Lorde talks about how the song 'Royals' came about: I wrote "Royals" in the middle of last year and I played it to my friends and their reaction was like, "This is cool but it's not anything new to us." It's something we've always been very aware of… that our lives are super mundane and we're basically in this transition period waiting for something to happen to us. And then the song came out and people were like, "We never thought about it like this," but I think a lot of young people were just happy that someone was acknowledging that mundanity. I come from a pretty straight forward town, we spend most of our time riding around on bikes and taking photos -- we live pretty straight forward lives. As one of the few teenage voices in music that isn't like... Justin Bieber, I didn't want to glorify that perspective -- this is just what it is and if this is you, too, then cool… Then, we're in it together, I guess.Lorde will also perform at the Coachella Music Fest later this year. [details] Posted: 08 Jan 2014 08:16 PM PST  Yesterday we reported that Atlanta rapper Jeezy was arrested for an assault on his 17 year old son. If you MISSED that story...CLICK BACK! Today, Jeezy is speaking out about the situation and says his KID'S MOTHER is behind the ordeal being blown out of PROPORTION. Jeezy clears the air. According to him, this is what REALLY happened. He claims he DID NOT hurt his son!  Sources are saying that Jeezy did get into a BIG ARGUMENT with his 17 year old son Jardarius. Jeezy did not like how his son had been behaving and told the young man he could not live with him anymore. This is when Jardarius got 'GROWN' and POPPED OFF in his father's face. LESSON 1: Do Not challenge your father's AUTHORITY in an ARGUMENT unless you KNOW you are RIGHT. Jeezy says he never hit, or choked his son, but he did shove his son to the floor when he JUMPED UP in his face. And as for threatening to take a BULLET TO HIS SON, Jeezy holds that he took a classic line from Cliff Huxtable--'I brought you into this world and I can take you OUT.' Well it just may happen in the NEAR FUTURE. Executive producer and star of the franchise, Sarah Jessica Parker teased that there MAY be a 'Sex and the City 3'!!  Sarah Jessica Parker revealed during an interview for InStyle magazine's latest issue that Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda may be reuniting on the big screen for one last film. "A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell," the cover star said. "But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn't a decision that can wait forever. I don't want to have to wear muumuus!"  Kristin Davis recently shared that there are talks going on about whether or not there will be another installment of the famous HBO series in theaters. "I don't think [a third film] is a pipe dream, there is discussion. People talk about it amongst the people who are the players, but I don't know if it will come together. It would be very exciting if it did," she told Haute Living magazine in its December issue. However, costar Cynthia Nixon didn't exactly have the same enthusiasm. The actress shot down the idea of a third Sex and the City movie by stating, "I think it's fine to let it go. When hearing of Nixon's opinion on the whole theory, Davis responded, "I'm going to have a little talk with Cynthia the next time I see her!" So the LADIES are MULLING it over! I think a FINAL installment would be GREAT! Don't you? But it would have to be GREAT SCRIPT and the action HAS to take place in NYC where it all BEGAN. | Rumor Patrol: Are #KenyaMoore #KMichelle and #Snooki joining the 2014 #CelebrityApprentice Cast!? Posted: 08 Jan 2014 12:01 PM PST  Donald Trump is bringing us another installment of the hit NBC reality show, 'The Celebrity Apprentice'. They have been very TIGHT LIPPED about possible cast members, but RUMOR HAS IT that a list for the new season has already circulated on Twitter! This alleged list came out on Twitter yesterday and it says that the cast will include Gordon Ramsay, Criss Angel, Scott Disick, Kenya Moore, Lindsay Lohan, Lea Michelle, K. Michelle, Snooki and Ludacris. This cast would totally make sense. Some of them have done reality TV before and others are working on getting their name out there. RHOA star, Kenya Moore actually retweeted the tweet. She didn't confirm or deny that she will be on the show, but she did share it which makes fans wonder if it is true. If this is true, it would make for a VERY INTERSTING season, but we are not sure yet. Some of these names seem plausible, while others, I'm just not sure of.
