| #ASU Fraternity SUSPENDED after RACIST #MLK Party! [details] Posted: 21 Jan 2014 02:18 PM PST  It's 2014 and sad to say, RACISM is STILL ALIVE and WELL! A fratermity at Arizona State University has been SUSPENDED after pics surfaced of an OFFENSIVE 'MLK-themed party'. CBS 5 - KPHO A representative for Arizona State University said school officials have suspended Tau Kappa Epsilon's chapter operations while they investigate an unregistered Greek event that has many on campus offended. Pictures from the event, coined "MLK Black Party" by the group, show members and guests dressed in basketball jerseys, flashing gang signs and even drinking from watermelon cups.  "This isn't appropriate at all and you really have no business dressing like this on a day that's sort of revered for African-Americans," said ASU senior Frank Hogan after seeing some of the pictures. "I think this represents the ignorance that still exists today. This is just one example of the kind of things that occur here," stated Kaajal Koranteng, also a senior. An official statement from the university said ASU has suspended the chapter's operations and will take "additional action against the individuals involved." The university also said the ASU chapter was already on social probation and not allowed to have parties, noting that last weekend's party was not on campus and not a university sanctioned event. Offensive? Stupidity? Maybe a mixture of both. It's sad that a group of people think that this is ACTUALLY how African-American's are in real-life. But the bad part of this is that this organization will probably get a slap on the wrist and still be allowed to carry on in this manner. As stated this was a NON-UNIVERSITY sanctioned event. SO after being REPRIMANDED, if they actually are, they can go back to having OFFENSIVE, NON-SANCTIONED events like this. We need to work on CHANGING a mindset. But of course that's a FAR bigger undertaking.   |

[video] Posted: 21 Jan 2014 10:51 AM PST  Tough talk media maven Wendy Williams had a moment of WEAKNESS on her show Monday when she was reporting on the controversy with Madonna and her son. Madonna came under fire recently for using the 'N-word' affectionately to address her son. Wendy started to go in on the pop icon, but then was overwhelmed with ENVY of what appears to be a close relationship between Madge and her son Rocco. "Rocco's 13-years-old and Rocco is a real fan of his mother," Wendy says, suddenly melting down into tears. "What I discovered this weekend is that my son doesn't like me anymore. You know how it is, I know what it is… Kevin, I discovered this a while ago, but the ball just got smacked home this weekend." The distraught mother continues, "You know, he's all into his father, you know how 13-year-old are, I was the same way when I was 13, but it is breaking my heart. "He's the one who's 13 and I get it… But it is breaking my heart. And he doesn't care about Wendy on TV, he doesn't care about any of that. Anyways, she's lucky that he likes her." The popular host also broke down when discussing Whitney Houston's addiction that lead to her untimely death. Wendy a recovering addict could empathize with that situation whole-heartedly. Wendy may have to show that SAME VULNERABILITY at HOME with her son and husband so they will SEE that their TIGHT-KNIT relationship is leaving her out and making her sad. He may see his Mom as a larger than life star that caters to the WORLD of entertainment, but not enough catering to him. Hopefully Wendy will get through this minor setback. | Sheriff DEBUNKS reports that #JustinBieber's Manse was "Filled With Drugs" [details] Posted: 21 Jan 2014 02:50 AM PST  There were NUMEROUS reports swirling around that during the raid on Justin Bieber's California manse that there were 'tons of drugs' found on the premises. The police are saying that that was not the case at all! The Los Angeles Sheriff reiterated to E! News that police did not see any illegal substances in the Biebs' Calabasas home except for the drugs found in Lil Za's room—which he was subsequently arrested for. The Sheriff also confirmed that authorities did not see any codeine bottles, containers of drugs or weed throughout the mansion. There's also speculation that Biebs has a "smoke room" and that the private residence smelled of marijuana during the raid. However, the Sheriff debunked those rumors and said that no such room was found and that Bieber's home was" well kept and clean" and "didn't smell or have an unusual odor." So, all the reports saying that Biebs is addicted to 'Sizzurp' and etc, are unfounded at this time. There were not codeine bottles are marijuana found all through the mansion.
