#TPain talks #Homophobia in Hip-Hop! [video]

Posted: 09 Feb 2014 12:58 PM PST

Despite the success of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' 'Same Love' song, HIP-HOP- urban HIP HOP is still very much HOMOPHOBIC.  T-Pain although in a jokingly and crude way tried to explain homophobia in hip-hop.  For those that don't know Pain's assistant is gay and he says that he has seen on more than more occasion where people would put off meeting or talking to him if his gay assistant was around.  T-Pain makes some good points.  All gay men are not going to try to approach a straight man or 'convert' a straight man to being gay.  It does not work that way.  Also if you are SECURE with your masculinity you should not be CONCERNED with homosexuals or homosexual dealings... it doesn't effect you. Listen to what else T-Pain had to say on the matter.

SURPRISE! #Nike releases #AirYeezy Red Octobers with little fanfare! [details]

Posted: 09 Feb 2014 03:10 PM PST

I guess Beyonce has everyone in the mood to release hotly-anticipated wares secretly. At midnight, Nike decided to finally release their last collaboration with Kanye West--the hotly-anticipated Air Yeezy II Red Octobers!!

Kanye West's much anticipated and delayed final collaboration with Nike, the Air Yeezy II Red Octobers appeared on the Nike website for purchase earlier today (February 9). Priced at $245, the shoe's description refers to it as "a modern take on classic features" yet makes no mention of its creator, Kanye West.

Unfortunately for us 'MORTALS' the show sold out in less than 20 minutes. SO if you don't have them or were not fortunate to know about the surprise release, you'll have to wait like the rest of us. Kanye West has not made any comments yet--but you KNOW he will.
