Many sources are saying that the listing is FAKE, but then some or saying that it is indeed the REAL DEAL. Lady Gaga has hinted at working on Beyonce's new project and today Azealia Banks CONFIRMED that she is on the project enough.  Coincidentally, the the 1st ALLEGED single, 'Ratchet' is said to feature BOTH LADIES!  Hmmmm..   Bey's new disc info is being held to the UTMOST of SECRECY like CIA info, but for SHITS and GIGGLES take a look at the ALLEGED TRACK LIST.... AFTER THE JUMP!!

Alleged Tracklist:
01. Ratchet (feat. Lady Gaga & Azealia Banks)
02. Back 2 Business (feat. Jay-Z)
03. Roller Coaster (feat. Justin Timberlake)
04. Visions (feat. Sia)
05. Dance (I'm Soon Over) (feat. Rihanna)

International Woman's Day: Portrait of Tenacity- #EsterDean

Posted: 08 Mar 2013 02:04 PM PST

International Women's Day is annually held on March 8 to celebrate women's achievements throughout history and across nations. It is also known as the United Nations (UN) Day for Women's Rights and International Peace. In light of International Woman's Day, let's spotlight a TRULY GIFTED WOMAN!

Some may know her, but most may not.  But if the name doesn't ring a bell right out the gate, you definitely know her work.  Ester Dean.  Ester Dean is a singer/songwriter behind such hits as 'Firework', by Katy Perry, 'SuperBass' by Nicki Minaj, 'S&M' by Rihanna, and her own hit single 'Drop it Low' which featured Chris Brown.  But up until 2009, Dean was relatively unknown in the music business.  But all that would soon change, and change for the better.

Ester Dean's vision changed when she experienced what she describes as her "oh, wow" moment. Dean saw the inspirational 2006 documentary "The Secret," which its creator Rhonda Byrne later turned into a best-selling book. The personal empowerment message of the film -- "everything is possible, nothing is impossible" -- resonated strongly with Dean.

"I'd put so many limits on how I believed things should work,".  I started taking away those limitations, took myself out of the box. Now I'm ready to wow the world."
Dean, who just three years ago was living on Section 8 housing vouchers, has started to do just that. The Muskogee, Okla., native was singing on demos and writing songs in Atlanta when she was introduced to Polow Da Don. He asked her to write a hook for Young Jeezy, and ended up signing her to his Zone 4/Interscope label in 2009. She also inked a publishing deal with producer Christopher "Tricky" Stewart's RedZone Publishing.

Fast-forward to 2011. Now based in Los Angeles, Dean has co-written four of the first quarter's top 100 airplay songs: Katy Perry's "Firework" (No. 2); Rihanna's "What's My Name," featuring Drake (No. 4), and "S&M" (No. 27); and Lloyd's "Lay It Down" (No. 94). Those join a growing list of writing credits that includes T.I.'s "Remember Me," featuring Mary J. Blige; Blige's "I Am"; Rihanna's "Rude Boy"; and "Let Me Take You to Rio" for the soundtrack to the animated feature "Rio." Dean also co-wrote three tracks on the 2009 album "Graffiti" by Chris Brown, who returned the writing favor by guesting on Dean's own single that year, "Drop It Low" -- the first release under the deal she signed with Zone 4/Interscope. The track peaked at No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100.

When did you start writing and singing?

When I was in the third grade; I wouldn't pay attention in school at all. I did love English because they let you tell stories. I used to have these big-ass notebooks in which I'd write down all my thoughts. But in school, I was just the girl who sang all over the place, trying to see who wanted to make a group.

How did "S&M" come about?

I wrote it, Father forgive me, on a Sunday. The track was already there. The first thing that came to me was "Come on, come on." I'm thinking, "I don't know what in the hell this is about to be." And I remembered I'd seen something that said, "Sticks and stones may break my bones." Then came "But chains and whips excite me." And I'm like, "Oh, my God, I got to write that." I'm in the studio with the engineer and just kept looking at him, asking, "Is that OK?" And he says, "I like it." When people have a great track that speaks to me, it feels like it already has a story in it.

What's your take on the current state of R&B and hip-hop?
People need to stop putting a limit on what it is and what it isn't. It's what you put into it. However, people keep putting limitations on themselves and creating this reality that soul music is dead. That's only in their reality. It's not true. To me, Adele is R&B. Bruno Mars is R&B. It's just good songwriting and songs. That is going to last. That's what I've got to work on my damn self‹what's going to last.

Ester Dean is truly a 'portrait' of tenacity.  She proves that if you keep trying, and keep honing your craft, doors will begin to fly off the hinges for you.  When she was able to break the limits that she admitted she set on herself, she was able to fly, soar to heights she never knew she could reach.  I applaud a strong woman who has the gusto to go after she wants in a male-driven industry.  Hats off to Ester Dean.  We will continue to hear great music this woman pens and hopefully we will see her step out on her own with her project and make the world stop and stare again.

Until then, let's go back just a bit to Ester's 1st single:

'Drop it Low' feat. Chris Brown

Following her big-screen debut in movie musical "Pitch Perfect," the Muskogee, Okla., native is prepping her studio debut, "Story Never Told" (Interscope), which is currently without a street date, though it was completed five months ago. The disc will be led by the single "How You Love It," featuring Missy Elliott, but Dean drummed up buzz by closing 2012 with a self-financed video for slow jam "Baby Making Love."

#BrunoMars pulling stunts! Sells album for $1.99 just to make it #1!

Posted: 08 Mar 2013 01:30 PM PST

When your album is so bad that you practically have to GIVE IT AWAY for people to listen to it, now that's a damn shame! That's exactly what Bruno Mars' record label, Atlantic, did last week. Apparently since the release of Bruno Mars' album Unorthodox Jukebox in December, it has been selling at a mediocre pace. It debuted at #2 and went on a rollercoaster ride on the charts in the following weeks. Last week, the label reduced the Amazon price of the ENTIRE album for $1.99 and it sold over 95,000 downloads, causing a 96% sales increase from the previous week and making it the #1 album this week. During the first four weeks of an album's release, a sale price of an album this drastic doesn't factor into actual sales, but after the fourth week, all bets are off! This rule was enforced by Nielsen Soundscan, the system that monitors record sales and downloads, after Lady Gaga pulled the same stunt with her album Born This Way back in 2011. Gaga sold her album for 99 cents during the week of its debut, causing it to sell well over 1 million copies that week alone. Well, I guess congratulations are in order for Bruno Mars for right now. It's going to be interesting to see how the album performs once it goes back to regular price.

"Mmm... yeah, whatever. It's #1 THIS week, so what?"

Teeny Weeny Peeny! LHHNY's #RichDollaz nude pics LEAK... we meant... DRIBBLE!

Posted: 08 Mar 2013 02:01 PM PST

Thanks to The Doll, Funky Dineva, the world is now privy to Love & Hip Hop New York star Rich Dollaz's privates! The photos, exclusively posted on Funky Dineva's website a couple of days ago were received by an anonymous source in what seems to either be a set up or a publicity stunt. Either way, the pics aren't too flattering, as Rich Dollaz seems to be coming up... SHORT. I never thought that a man with such a big ego would have such a... well, anyway I digress. Rich admits to the first pic being his, claiming that he took it to show off the weight loss progress he's been making. However, he vehemently denies the second pic (mind you, taken with the same background)... and rightfully so. I wouldn't claim that either! Here's the first pic...

PEEP THE NSFW pic after the JUMP!!

Top 10 songs TURNED DOWN by artists that TURNED INTO hits!

Posted: 08 Mar 2013 10:28 AM PST

Sometimes songwriters compose songs with certain artists in mind, but the artists don't always necessarily feel that the song is a "fit" for them. So, what happens? Well, the songwriter moves on to someone else who usually turns it into a HIT and leaves the original artist singing their "shoulda, coulda, woulda's". Such is the case with these 10 songs:

10. "Louboutins," recorded by: Jennifer Lopez, written for: Brandy
Written and produced by The-Dream, this track was actually recorded by Brandy initially and was meant to be included on her Human album. The track didn't fit the overall theme of the album and Brandy eventually passed on it. It found its way to Jennifer Lopez, who recorded it for her Love? album. This is the only EXCEPTION to the theme of this countdown... LOL. The song was a huge flop, and so was Brandy's Human album, so neither artist fared well from the song either way. I just thought it would be interesting to share! Check out Lopez's version and Brandy's version. Who sang it better?

9. "You Don't Have To Call," recorded by: Usher, written for: Michael Jackson
This is actually one of many songs rejected by the King of Pop written and produced by The Neptunes. He also passed on "Rock Your Body" by Justin Timberlake. Somehow, I just couldn't imagine Michael singing "tonight I'm goin' out wit' my n*ggas..." LOL

8. "I'm A Slave For You," recorded by: Britney Spears, written for: Janet Jackson
Now Janet would have SLAYED this track. But then again, had she not passed on it, we never would have gotten to witness Britney's iconic MTV performance of the song with the albino python...

7. "How Will I Know," recorded by Whitney Houston, written for: Janet Jackson
Janet definitely let this one slip through her fingers, as this of course became a huge hit for Whitney.

6. "Thinkin' 'Bout You," recorded by: Frank Ocean, written for: Bridget Kelly
Roc Nation artist Bridget Kelly actually recorded the song for her "Every Girl" EP back in 2011, but Frank posted his original demo version to his Tumblr page and ... well, the rest is history. Grammy history. Here are both versions of the song. You can hear Frank's background vocals in the bridge of Bridget Kelly's version. Better luck next time, Bridget...

PEEP THE TOP 5 AFTER THE JUMP!

5. "Gold Digger," recorded by Kanye West feat. Jamie Foxx, written for: Shawnna
Yeah, somehow this worked out for the best. Nobody even remembers who Shawnna is unless you say "Gettin' some head..." LOL. Kanye kept the song for himself and put a male perspective spin on it, and made it into another hit.

4. "N*ggas In Paris," recorded by Kanye West & Jay-Z, written for: Pusha T
Since leaving rap group The Clipse several years ago, Pusha T has still yet to make a significant name for himself solo-wise, despite being guest featured on many high-profile rap tracks. "N*ggas In Paris" definitely would not have made as big of an impact had it been recorded by Pusha T, and he even admits it himself.

3. "...Baby One More Time," recorded by Britney Spears, written for: TLC
This is another hit TLC could have added to their collection, but they didn't really need it. Britney's unforgettable debut single was supposed to be recorded by TLC and included on their Fan Mail album, but the trio passed. With the hits "No Scrubs," "Unpretty," "Silly Ho" and "I'm Good At Being Bad," it's not really like they missed out...

2. "Umbrella," recorded by Rihanna feat. Jay-Z, written for: Britney Spears
You try to do a heaux a favor and she just wanna go and f**k it up! The-Dream wrote "Umbrella" specifically for Britney because she desperately needed to make a huge comeback after a series of highly-publicized meltdowns and drama. But, upon being ill-advised by her management, Britney turned down the track. The-Dream gave it to Rihanna, added Jay-Z to the track, and struck Grammy gold.

... and the #1 BIGGEST mistake of an artist's career goes to...

1. Irreplaceable," recorded by Beyonce, written for: Chrisette Michele
Ooooh, Chrisette girl I know you been kicking yourself in the ASS every day since this song came out. Ne-Yo wrote this song specifically for her, but she turned it down because it was too "country". Well, Beyonce put her spin on it and turned it into a long-running #1 single. Chrisette eventually won a Grammy of her own, but she could have had it a lot sooner with this track.
