| Bubbling UNDER: #SevynStreeter -'I Like' [video] Posted: 10 Mar 2013 03:09 PM PDT  I posted this before, BUT i think Sevyn Streeter DESERVES another Go! This chick is rolling around and dancing on CHAIRS and you have to admit the song is CATCHY AS H*LL so let's DIG into this NEW JOINT AGAIN! I deem this post 'Bubbling Under'. This will be a post that features PERSON, PLACE or THING that is right on the CUSP of breaking through to being on the lips and minds of EVERYBODY, but it is just 'bubbling under the surface'. The 'Bubbling Under' artist for today goes to new solo artist Sevyn Streeter.  After taking a look at this 'new artist' you may think, "Hey I've seen her before!" And you have. Amber 'Sevyn' Streeter was a member of the Rich Harris founded group 'Rich Girl'. Although the group never released a full debut LP, work on a self-titled debut album had begun in 2009 with a planned release in 2010 and 2011. The album saw the release of a promotional-single titled "24" featuring Bun B. and two official singles, "He Ain't wit Me Now (Tho)" and "Swagger Right". Following unsuccessful attempts to chart, the girls released their one and only full album release on Valentine's Day 2011 with a mixtape Fall in Love with RichGirl. The group later unofficially disbanded after all members of the group pursued solo careers and different endeavors.  Fast forward to 2013, Streeter has picked up the pieces and has embarked on a burgeoning SOLO career and from the looks of things, she is POISED to take on R&B best BY HER SELF. The infectious, bass heavy, pop-laced 1st single from Streeter called, 'I Like It', is slowly but surely making its way onto the R&B/Pop radar. And Sevyn is easy on the eyes as well!  Streeter has written for the likes of Mary J. Blige, Brandy, Kelly Rowland and has lent her vocals to Chris Brown's recent efforts. It has paid off and Brown signed Streeter to his CBE record imprint. So let's REINTRODUCE Sevyn Streeter to the WORLD with her HOT NEW SINGLE, 'I Like it'!! But the real RUB was when JT changed his lyrics SLIGHTLY to throw a subtle jab at a little rapper that REMARKED he wasn't 'Fuckin wit' that 'Suit and Tie 'ish' Justin changed the lyrics from "Aww, s**t so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit" to "my hit's so sick got RAPPERS acting dramatic." [details] Posted: 10 Mar 2013 02:09 PM PDT   Rihanna had to cancel her Boston tour stop for tonight because she has 'laryngitis'.  I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes! this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down She was probably just going to just sing to pre-recorded tracks anyways, so she REALLY could just go on with the show???? Maybe she just needs a bit of REST! When you are TOURING you need to get rest and NOT PARTY AND BULLSHIT too much while on the road. And LADI DADI when know she like to PARTY!
