MARCH MADNESS comes to an abrupt HALT for the guys in Carolina Blue as the Jay Hawks came from BEHIND to beat the Heels! Kansas overcame a nine-point halftime deficit to roar back and defeat North Carolina in the 2013 NCAA tournament on Sunday, 70-58. The Jayhawks are headed to the Sweet 16 yet again after making it to the national championship game last season. It was head coach Bill Self's 300th career win. But Kansas came out of halftime on fire, going on an 11-3 run in less than four minutes before North Carolina head coach Roy Williams was forced to take a timeout with the Tar Heels clinging on to a one-point lead.  The Jayhawks went on a run from there, led by Releford and senior forward Kevin Young. They jumped out to a 56-42 lead with 7:38 remaining and continued to roll down the stretch. Despite committing 23 turnovers, Kansas was able to surge to an emphatic victory by going 17-of-27 in the second half. The Jayhawks also out-rebounded the Tar Heels 47-30. [details] Posted: 24 Mar 2013 04:35 PM PDT  I guess things got a bit ICY when a FAN of Gucci Mane tried to get a photo with the Atlanta rapper, real name Radric Davis, It appears that a fan who happens to be a U.S. armed forces soldier that just recently returned from Afghanistan, tried to get a photo op with Gucci when he was STRUCK IN THE HEAD with a BOTTLE!  The soldier did not release his name but went as "James" to reporter Amy Napier Viteri of Atlanta's Channel 2 news. He said, "I'm in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it OK?" James said he asked the security guard. "I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle." James returned home from Afghanistan in October. "And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face," James told Viteri. James he went to Grady Memorial Hospital on an ambulance, where he received 10 stitches. The POLICE are LOOKING for GUCCI MANE!!! A warrant was issued for his ARREST! Get more details after the JUMP! "We do have an active warrant for Mr. Davis for aggravated assault," Lt. Jeff Cantin of the Atlanta Police Department told Viteri. James said he has a concussion and is suffering from bad headaches. "He could have possibly killed me. [audio] Posted: 24 Mar 2013 02:45 PM PDT  Apparently Janet Hubert-Whitten, you know, the 'ORIGINAL' Aunt Viv from NBC's hit 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' was feeling particularly ORNERY recently and it all involves media maven Wendy Williams. Williams had Tatyana Ali on her popular talk show last week, and the conversation was steered towards the MESSY 'firing' of Hubert allegedly at the hands of Will Smith, way back when. Why this is still NEWS and WHY Mrs. Hubert is still MAD and BITTER about the very INFAMOUS split from the sitcom baffles me. But Hubert had a few CHOICE words to say about WENDY, even questioning if Williams is a 'BIOLOGICAL' woman and the whole 9!!! Hubert ELOQUENTLY TEARS DOWN Wendy Williams' character and lets it be known that she is STILL BITTER about the split from the show! LISTEN to her TIRADE here!!! Listen to internet radio with SPEAK OWN IT on Blog Talk Radio DAMN, JANET!!!?? She really WENT IN ON WENDY. Hmmm, I can see her being slightly offended by some of the things that have come up in the media about that nasty split, BUT REALLY? How many years ago was that? GET OVER IT!!!!!!!! MOVE ON. I can actually say it was ODD how they got rid of her and made it a running JOKE on the show. I liked the ORIGINAL 'AUNT VIV' on-camera, but when the NEW 'AUNT VIV' arrive, I liked her BETTER.  Daphne-Maxwell Reid owned the role from her 1st appearance. It actually looked better AESTHICALLY. I mean, Hubert was very DARK. Beautiful, but DARK. Her children would -in real life- 9 x out of 10 not look like CARLTON, ASHLEY and HILLARY, as far as skin tone, so the new 'Aunt Viv' made more sense to me.....   The whole ROLE changed when Reid came aboard. the character morphed into an easy-going stay-at-home mom as opposed to Hubert's no-nonsense, outspoken career woman persona. Many 'Fresh Prince' fans regard the switch as the moment the show jumped the shark. I liked the original, but Reid did well too, so .... I don't know..... But hopefully we'll see MORE sparks between Hubert-Whitten and Wendy this week?? Which 'AUNT VIV' did you LIKE BEST???
