That did not stop a group of FRIENDS and FAMILY from SURPRISING Breezy with a WELCOME HOME SURPRISE Party on THursday!!! Karrueche Tran, Big Sean, Tyga, T-Pain, Akon, Amber Rose, and a few more were in attendance of the SURPRISE SOIREE. As you recall, the singer was in jail for his birthday on May 5th, so they also took the time to CELEBRATE that as well. Take a look at a few SNAPS from the event!!! | #Apple to DO AWAY with Headphone Jacks?!! #Beats deal makes sense now! [details] Posted: 06 Jun 2014 12:47 AM PDT  There has been MUCH CLAMOR about the upcoming iPhone 6, its features and how the Dr. Dre Beats deal will impact all of that. Apple is ALWAYS hush-hush about their upcoming products until they are ready for a BIG REVEAL, but some sources are saying that the traditional headphone jack that Apple is using may be a thing of the past! This would make the HUGE Beats Audio deal sensible, right!?  Get Ready For Lightning Headphones: Like most Apple developments, the news emerged from a leak. 9to5Mac has learnt that Apple submitted a specification to its MFi (Made For) licensing program for headphones which connect using the company's proprietary Lightning port instead of the standard 3.5mm jack. Furthermore all it will take for the Lightning port to start accepting these new headphones is a firmware update.  Like most Apple innovations this brings some notable upsides. The 3.5mm jack (technically called a 'TRS' connector) is rarely the bottleneck to audio quality, but the Lightning port will enable a switch from analogue to digital audio with an exceedingly high lossless stereo 48 kHz digital output and mono 48 kHz digital input. If you can afford a $1,000 pair of headphones you may pick up the difference. Of more relevance to most people, however, is the new functionality it will bring. Headphones with a Lightning connector would be able to do more than lower/increase volume, end calls and skip tracks. There could be specific app control or even the ability to set a specific app to start when they are connected. Since the Lightning jack can also receive power, not just send it, you could still charge a device by connecting it to your headphones while listening to music. Apple Wins Big But let's cut to the chase. The biggest upside in this switch would be for Apple. Right now you can plug any pair of headphones or earphones into an iPhone, iPod, iPad, Mac or MacBook, but with the switch Apple would control an essential peripheral and its MFi licensing program would see it start to take a sizeable fee for every pair of headphones sold for use with an Apple device. Meanwhile Apple would suck up the majority of the profits with the Beats brand because owning it means there will be no licensing fee. As for users who want to stick with their headphones, they would need to pay for an adaptor which – like the $29 Lightning to 30-pin adaptor– would inevitably be expensive and just bulky enough to make you want to buy dedicated Lightning headphones long term. [details] Posted: 06 Jun 2014 01:53 AM PDT  By now EVERYBODY knows the Heat fell to the Spurs last night in Game 1 of the NBA Finals and that oddly enough 'HEAT' was a factor in the momentum of the game. The San Antonio Spurs walked away with the victory in a contest which was played under the most extreme conditions, given the fact that there was an electrical issue inside the AT&T Center that caused the air conditioning to go out, creating an 88-degree temperature on the court.  In the last few moments of the game James went down with cramps and had to be carried off the court. He did not return. OF COURSE the SPORTS WORLD was QUICK to get on their favorite SOUNDING BOARD-Twitter- to talk about the game and mainly Lebron James' 'CRAMPS'. Even Gatorade got in a little SWIPE at James for his SUDDEN CRAMPS..  Damn GATORADE!!! That stings a little. Bun B had an interesting take on the issue. Get the DETAILS after the jump! via[Bossip]  HOMOSEXUALITY IN HIP-HOP BOSSIP: Is Hip-Hop ready to accept openly gay rappers? Bun: Well you have to real about America. America hasn't fully accepted "regular" hip-hop much less gay hip-hop. The isht that 2 Live Crew did and Nelly "Tip Drill", that still isn't accepted by regular society. Everything in those videos is considered "normal Christian sex" and it's STILL too much for the average person. So the gay sex is an even harder bridge to cross for some people. Most people in life don't want sex out in front of them like that, they don't want people's sexual tendencies in front of them straight or gay. Hip-Hop is built on masculinity and machismo and it's about being a man and representing where you're from, but hip-hop also represents different things for different people. I think because gay hip-hop is so early in its process, we don't know enough about gay people, we have to get to know them as individuals and the culture before we get into anything else. There's probably gay people who have a problem with that song (Fly Young Red's "Throw That Boy P").  He makes valid points. THOUGHTS??  |

[details] Posted: 06 Jun 2014 01:51 AM PDT  From the tip-off of the game, and the fact that The Heat started the series on the ROAD I knew what the momentum was going to be. This was a DIFFERENT 'stage' than last year when Miami started the series at home. The Spurs came out wanting to get a WIN and that's just what HAPPENED! The San Antonio Spurs rallied in the fourth quarter, using a 31-9 run to defeat the Miami Heat 110-95 and take a 1-0 series lead in the 2014 NBA Finals. Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 21 points, 10 rebounds and three assists while Tony Parker had 19 points and eight assists, Manu Ginobili had 16 points, 11 assists and five rebounds and Tiago Splitter added 14 points. Danny Green, who did not make a field goal in the first three quarters, finished with 13 points.  The story of the game became the air conditioner in the AT&T Center that went out and caused the temperature on the court to raise to over 90 degrees. The heat obviously took a toll on LeBron James in the fourth quarter. He couldn't get up down the court and was forced to the bench in the final minutes when the Spurs took over. James finished with 25 points on nine-of-17 shooting to go with six rebounds and three assists. Chris Bosh added 18 points and nine rebounds, Dwyane Wade scored 19 and Ray Allen chipped in 16.
