The new song by Brad Paisley was INTENT on opening up the eyes of many to RACIAL STEREOTYPES of the SOUTH, but what it accomplished was far from. For STARTERS, Paisley sings in the hook, 'I'm just a WHITE MAN living in the Southland'???? REALLY??? Confederate FLAG t-shirts? Who WROTE this??? This is an EMBARRASSMENT to Paisley's talent. And L.L. Cool J never known to be this DEEP lyricist comes in with what can be called a 'Rap' with, 'Hey Mr White man, I wish you understood....?' THIS IS A TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE RAP.... SIGH... This is REALLY BAD. I think they were trying to go with that whole CLASH of GENRES a'la Nelly and Tim McGraw, but MISSED THE MARK TERRIBLY....TERRIBLY.... TERRIBLY..... and as the song goes on, L.L. is still blurting out stupid stuff in the background like he has Tourettes. But it's okay, because Paisley is just a WHITE man living in the Southland....RIGHT?? LOL. WOW.  @CarrieMesrobian Oh my god that LL Cool J/Brad Paisley duet is just AWFUL. On so many levels. Artistic, political, lyrical... #JustNo @GingerAtLaw Step one: Go to YouTube and look up the song "Accidental Racist" by Brad Paisley/LL Cool J. Step two: Give up on the human race @LaurenONeal I just want to give a big shoutout to Brad Paisley and LL Cool J for erasing all the hard work done by MLK with a single song. @TheKHO13 I'm not saying this song is racist, I'm just saying its the worst piece of music Brad P. has ever made. Unfortunately this song is no joke. It's on Brad's new album and the singer insists "This isn't a stunt." In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Paisley defends the tune -- saying "This isn't something that I just came up with just to be sort of shocking or anything like that. I knew it would be, but I'm sort of doing it in spite of that, really." "This is a very sensitive subject, and we're trying to have the discussion in a way that it can help," he adds. A discussion indeed is to be had, but more along the lines of how we can do DAMAGE CONTROL for both artists involved. SAD.....  Almost LAUGHABLE that this was released for us to hear..... WOW. | #NCAA Men's Basketball CHAMPIONS- #LouisvilleCardinals!!!!! Posted: 08 Apr 2013 09:51 PM PDT  (AJC- Curtis Compton) IT'S A WRAP!!! WHAT A GAME IT WAS!! Classic! I'd say so. The Louisville Cardinals SWAT The Michigan State Wolverines 82-76!!!!  Freshman Spike Albrecht IGNITED early in the 1st half, but it was not enough to fend off the Cardinals!!!   Michigan dominated the first half of the game, thanks to Spike Albrecht. The freshman guard came off the bench to score 17 points and drain four 3-pointers to give the Wolverines a 12-point lead. The Cardinals came storming back, however, as Luke Hancock caught fire. He knocked down 12 points in just 90 seconds to erase the double-digit deficit at the end of the first half. Michigan went into halftime up 38-37, but Louisville had closed the gap. Louisville started to take over in the second half. Led by a nine-point surge from Chane Behanan, the Cardinals went on a 12-3 run to take a small lead at the under-12 timeout. After a dazzling first half, Albrecht was a non-factor the rest of the way, finishing with 17 points. Burke led the Wolverines with 24 points and the team as a whole shot 52.1 percent from the field. | #Mousketeer no more.. #AnnetteFunicello HAS PASSED AWAY! Posted: 08 Apr 2013 09:10 PM PDT Sad news to report... One of the most LEGENDARY Disney Mousketeers has passed away!!!  Annette Funicello -- the undisputed queen of the "Mickey Mouse Club" -- has died, according to Disney's official fan club Twitter. She was 70. Funicello was a triple threat -- Mouseketeer, pop singer and bigscreen star. She was huge in the 60's with movies like "Beach Party," Bikini Beach," and "Beach Blanket Bingo." According to "Extra," Annette had been hospitalized in Bakersfield due to complications from multiple sclerosis and had been in a coma.  Funicello disclosed in 1992 that she suffered from multiple sclerosis. She lost the ability to walk in 2004, could no longer speak by 2009 and required round-the-clock care. | HOT, NEW NOW!!! HOT TOPICS! #RHOA Reunion Part 1 RUNDOWN!! Posted: 08 Apr 2013 03:52 PM PDT  Did you miss the EXPLOSIVE part one of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Reunion SHOW!!!?!?     So, Kandi and NeNe addressed their 'beef' of sorts... Both ladies had valid points--they both throw daggers at the other, and if you recall, NeNe went for Kandi on sight when Kandi was first introduced to the show. NeNe CLAIMED she didn't know who Kandi was....REALLY? Everybody BLACK has heard of Kandi and Xscape and her songwriting PROWESS. Since then, the ladies have had a touchy relationship. Touchy as it maybe, NeNe took the gloves off when speaking ill of Kandi's fiance at the time, AJ. That's just OFF LIMITS, wouldn't you agree?? BOOTY WARS!! The battle still rages over who's DVD is outselling who's and the where the whole IDEA originated from. Phaedra was quick-witted and took Kenya to task on ALL of her claims... and got a few good jabs in too... 'MADE IN CHINA BOOTY'--that was funny. Either way you sliced it, the ladies were rather QUCK WITTED with their criticism of Kenya and her ANTICS and at time Kenya looked perturbed and even at a loss for words. Phaedra, NeNe and Cynthia seemed to have READS for Kenya, and she wasn't READY for them.  WE SAW growth and STRENGTH in Porsha, at least I did. She deserves to stick around for another season. Cynthia had to grow on the fans and now she is as outspoken and catty as the rest. It's going to be GREAT to see how Kim stirs up the pot on next week. All of the VETERAN housewives have an axe to grind with Kim... Maybe next week, Kenya will have a BIGGER fan to hide her shame. London (CNN) -- Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, a towering figure in postwar British and world politics and the only woman to become British prime minister, has died at the age of 87. She suffered a stroke Monday, her spokeswoman said. Thatcher's funeral will be at St. Paul's Cathedral, with full military honors, followed by a private cremation, the British prime minister's office announced. Thatcher served from 1975 to 1990 as leader of the Conservative Party. She was called the "Iron Lady" for her personal and political toughness. She retired from public life after a stroke in 2002 and suffered several strokes after that. Thatcher: I enjoyed company of elders 2009: Inside Margaret Thatcher's papers She made few public appearances in her final months, missing a reception marking her 85th birthday hosted by Prime Minister David Cameron in October 2010. Take a listen via TMZ:  You have to admit, the lyrics are pretty damn accurate, and the hook is catchy. Spring/summer anthem in the works??? Could be. Ray-J is known to throw out a mini-banger every now and again. I wonder what Team Kimye is thinking RIGHT ABOUT NOW???? The full version drops TOMORROW!!!!!   I wonder if Kanye West will respond with a track to 'ETHER" Ray-J??? Playing with fire, or clever PR move by Ray-J? We'll see if it pays off.....pun intended.
