[video] Posted: 16 Apr 2013 11:09 PM PDT  I know by now many of you have seen the 'Family Guy' Clip that has been circulating the net all day! The show's March 17 episode, titled "Urban Cowboy," included a scene in which Peter Griffin (Seth MacFarlane) killed runners at the Boston Marathon, followed by another scene in which he created mass hysteria by setting off two explosions from a remote location. It's understandable for these scenes to conjure mental images of the April 15 bombings at the Boston Marathon, but one fan took it a step too far by editing the two scenes together. The video, which is quickly making its way around the Internet, makes it look like Peter intentionally killed runners at the marathon by setting off two explosions — which is absolutely not what happened. MacFarlane, 39, addressed the video on Twitter as soon as he saw it! "The edited Family Guy clip currently circulating is abhorrent," Seth tweeted April 16. "The event was a crime and a tragedy, and my thoughts are with the victims." How could someone use this tragedy for a means to incite a despicable joke!!?? [details] Posted: 16 Apr 2013 03:26 PM PDT  Pat Summerall -- a staple on CBS Sports who famously called NFL games with John Madden -- is dead at 82 ... according to Dallasnews.com. Pat -- a former NFL star kicker with the Detroit Lions -- was inducted into the American Sportscasters Association Hall of Fame in 1999. Summerall called the Super Bowl in 1982 -- the highest rated Super Bowl of all time. 49% of the country tuned in to watch the 49ers defeat the Bengals. Summerall called 16 Super Bowls. Krystle Campbell, who graduated from Medford High School in Massachusetts in 2001, also died in the attack. "She was a fun, outgoing person," said her grandmother Lillian Campbell, telling CNN the family learned she was dead on Tuesday. "She was always there to help somebody. And she was just beautiful." There were no immediate details about the third victim. As is often the case in such incidents, rumors of other bombs quickly began to circulate. Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and federal investigators dispelled those rumors Tuesday, saying the only known explosives were the two bombs that went off. Well things have changed DRASTICALLY. For whatever reason, RiRi continues to throw DAGGERS at the 'My Goodies' singer. Just recently, Rihanna and her gal pal poked fun at Ciara's impromptu bathroom video of her singing 'Body Party'   CHECK out the 'TWITTER WAR' after the JUMP!  So OF COURSE, Ciara finally RESPONDS. Taking the HIGH ROAD didn't work before, so here goes:  It seems Rihanna is OBSESSED with Ciara! I mean, she should be worrying about her shaky vocals and making up all those cancelled shows of her It's coming off a bit childish and petty. There are BIGGER ISSUES in the world to worry about other than a spat betwen female artists that are both in DIFFERENT LANES. Could Rihanna be THREATENED by Ciara's POISE back into the limelight?   In an interview with Wild 94.9, she NIPPED back at Rihanna, but also kept it classy and positive. "I think she's nuts right now like whatever's going on because for me it doesn't make any sense." She also shot down the whole 'BEEF' thing. "I don't have beef with anybody, but I'm not going to be disrespected either. I wish her well. I don't know what her problem is," she added. "She has a lot of good things going on with herself. A lot of good things I've always said I've been happy for her. I don't get it. I really don't, but I wish her well. I wish her positivity." It may not be beef, but Ciara and RiRi have had their issues in the past, for whatever reason. We thought that was all patched up and now…it starts again. | 8-year Old Boston Bombing Victim's CHILLING MESSAGE! [Videos] Posted: 16 Apr 2013 01:01 PM PDT  Almost a year ago, 8-year old Martin Richard wrote this chilling message: "No More Hurting People."  It was a sign he made for school with a simple message that encapsulates so much MEANING TODAY! For the camera, he held up the bright blue sign decorated with hearts framing the word "Peace." It's a photograph that many find difficult to look at Tuesday as they struggle to comprehend the violence that took Martin's life. On Monday, the boy and his family were watching the Boston Marathon near the finish line when two bombs exploded just off Copley Square in the heart of the city. The grade-schooler was killed, authorities said. Martin's mother, Denise and sister were seriously injured on yesterday. Denise Richard underwent surgery for an injury to her brain, and Martin's 6-year-old sister lost her leg, CNN affiliate WHDH reported. As of 1 p.m. ET Tuesday, both were still hospitalized, according to WHDH. The boy's father, William Richard, is a community leader in the Ashmont section of Dorchester, according to the Boston Globe. "My dear son Martin has died from injuries sustained in the attack on Boston," Richard said in a statement Tuesday. "My wife and daughter are both recovering from serious injuries. We thank our family and friends, those we know and those we have never met, for their thoughts and prayers. I ask that you continue to pray for my family as we remember Martin. We also ask for your patience and for privacy as we work to simultaneously grieve and recover. Thank you." After early reports conflicted about whether William Richard ran the marathon, a family spokesperson told CNN Tuesday afternoon that he was a spectator. (source) So TRAGIC. | #PresidentObama makes OFFICIAL STATEMENT about #BostonBombings!! [details] Posted: 16 Apr 2013 12:57 PM PDT   The nation will remember Boston in their prayers tonight. Federal officials are mobilizing resources to help. I've notified leaders of both parties; they agree that on days like this, there are no political parties. Police, firefighters, first responders, and the National Guard responded heroically. We salute all those who responded so quickly and professionally to this tragedy. We still do not know who did this or why; we still don't have all the facts. We will get to the bottom of this. We will find who did this and we will find out why they did this. Any responsible people or groups will feel the full weight of justice. Today is Patriots Day, a day that reflects the freedom Boston has celebrated throughout its history. Boston is a tough and resilient town; so are its people. I'm sure the people of Boston will pull together. As we get more information, our teams will provide more briefings.
