ATL #Falcons #RoddyWhite brother SHOT & KILLED outside Nightclub! [details]

Sad news to report.  Another young BLACK man shot and killed outside of a South Carolina night club.  Atlanta Falcon's Roddy White's younger brother was murdered over the weekend.


Tyrone Moore Jr., the half-brother of Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White, was shot and killed outside of a nightclub in South Carolina early Saturday morning.

Moore was 21 years old.


Jay Adams of AtlantaFalcons.com provides Falcons owner Arthur Blank's statement on the matter:

We were all saddened to learn about the death of Roddy's brother Tyrone. Roddy is part of our Falcons family, and families stand together in difficult circumstances. Roddy and his family can count on our support through this very trying time. On behalf of the entire Falcons organization, we extend our deepest sympathies and prayers to Roddy, his mother Joenethia, and their entire family.

According to Charleston County Sheriff's Maj. Eric Watson, via The Post and Courier's David MacDougall, authorities reported to the Lake House Club on James Island at 2:51 a.m. Saturday after several gunshots were fired. Moore was taken to Medical University Hospital with a wound, but he was later pronounced dead.

MacDougall's report notes that no arrests have yet been made.

According to MacDougall, the two brothers were raised together by their mother on James Island, where White was born, and Moore then lived with the Falcons star in Atlanta for "several years" while attending high school.

I have to ADMIT.

I am a Janet Jackson FAN.  It does not matter WHAT she SINGS---I LIKE IT!  So since we are CELEBRATING JANET JACKSON'S 48th BIRTHDAY ALL WEEKEND LONG, let's GO WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BACK.  Back to her 'Dream Street' days with a classic. And just in case you thought 'Scream' was the only time Michael & Janet recorded together, the King Of Pop did provide background vocals for his baby sisters single.

"Don't Stand Another Chance" was the lead single from Janet Jackson's second album, Dream Street. It was Jackson's second single to enter of the top 10 of the R&B chart, reaching number 9 in 1984.

For the first time, Jackson included the song on her 2008 "Rock Witchu Tour". Jackson also included the song in her performance at the 2010 Essence Music Festival, held in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The song was written by Janet Jackson, with brother Marlon Jackson and musician John Barnes. Marlon Jackson also produced the single and provided backing vocals along with brothers Michael, Tito, and Jackie.

There have been A LOT of RUMBLINGS about the FATE of Danity Kane.  Since they ANNOUNCED their RETURN, they've teased us with new music here and there and a few SPOT dates...HERE AND THERE.  So what's REALLY GOING ON with the LADIES?  They announced recently they would embark on their Danity Kane UNFILTERED Tour this summer, but UNFORTUNATELY, the ladies are DOWN another MEMBER.  The ladies will be touring as a TRIO now.  Aundrea Fimbres is OUT!  Find out why!





Rumors strarted SWIRLING when the ladies released the album cover for their latest single, 'Lemonade' and the cover only featured 3 little girls posing as DK.  Then tour rehearsal pics started surfacing with only Aubrey, Dawn and Shannon.... so where's Aundrea???

Well it's confirmed.  Aundrea is OUT OF THE GROUP...at least for now.  She is ENGAGED and PREGNANT and will NOT be performing with the ladies on tour!









There is a SILVER LINING.  Aundrea will still be traveling with the ladies on tour but just won;t be performing.  So in essence, she is taking MATERNITY LEAVE so to speak.  From the info I gathered, she is not LEAVING the group, just taking a HIATUS....


SO....LET'S HOPE she will DROP THAT BABY, and the baby weight and COME BACK to rejoin the ladies by the time the new album drops.....

WE'LL SEE.  GOOD LUCK to Aundrea and CONGRATS are in ORDER!!!
THE SHOW MUST GO ON...RIGHT??? There once was 5 NOW down to 3.  Well if they need a fill in, they can come to ATL and SCOOP up Wanita, BKA D. Woods. I am sure she is AVAILABLE.

#NFL SUSPENDS #Colts DE #RobertMathis for violating PED's policy with FERTILITY DRUGS!? [details]

Colts defensive end Robert Mathis has been suspended for the first four games of next season for violating the league's performance-enhancing drugs policy, according to the team.

"We recognize the extreme seriousness of this matter and will honor the confidentiality requirements of the League's program," the Colts said in a statement. "We nevertheless wish to assure Robert and our fans that he remains an honored and cherished member of the Colts family and that we support him as he deals with this difficult challenge."

Mathis, in a statement through his agency, said he and his wife faced fertility challenges and that he had sought medical assistance.

"I specifically asked the doctor if the medication he prescribed for me would present a problem for NFL drug testing, and unfortunately, he incorrectly told me that it would not. I made the mistake of not calling the NFL or NFLPA to double check before I took the medication at the end of last season. The union has worked very closely with me to present all of the facts and medical records for consideration of discipline that does not include a suspension because of the unique facts of my case, but the Commissioner refused the request."

Mathis, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, is coming off the best season of his career with 19½ sacks and 10 forced fumbles at the age of 32. Before 2013, Mathis had never accumulated more than 11½ sacks in a single season.

"I am deeply saddened that this situation will prevent me from contributing to my team for four games, and I regret that I didn't cross check what my doctor told me before I took the medication," Mathis said. "I hope that my fans will understand the unique circumstances involved here and continue to know that I am a man of integrity who would never intentionally circumvent the performance enhancing substance policy agreed to by the NFL and my union.

"The incredible blessing of this very upsetting situation is that, after I took the medication very briefly at the end of last season, we learned that my wife is expecting a baby. We are thrilled that we will be welcoming a new member in several months, but I apologize to my teammates, coaches and Colts fans that I will not be able to contribute to my team for the first four weeks of the 2014 season. I will work extremely hard during that time to stay in top football shape and will be prepared to contribute immediately upon my return."

Now let's get to the REAL DEAL.  So his PERFORMANCE on the gridiron IMPROVED after the fertility drugs and he wants us to believe he had no KNOWLEDGE of this?  I am looking a bit SIDE-EYED at this one.  I think he may have KNOWN the drugs had some EFFECT on his performance and he and his wife were benefiting from it as well.  So it was a WIN-WIN situation on both sides.  That's MY thought process.

Hold on #Oprah! #MichaelSam REALITY SHOW indefinitely on HOLD! The #Rams 'felt some kind of way! [Details]

WHO DIDN'T SEE THIS COMING!?

Just the other day NUMEROUS media outlets were reporting and LAUDING that Oprah Winfrey's OWN would be shooting a REALIY-styled 'docu-eries' about Michael Sam.  The network wanted to chronicle Sam's road to the NFL and training camp being the 1st openly GAY player in the NFL.

NOT SO FAST.  Now it appears the docu-series is ON HOLD...indefinitely!!! Find out WHY!





"After careful consideration and discussion with the St. Louis Rams, 'The Untitled Michael Sam Project' has been postponed, allowing Michael the best opportunity to achieve his dreams of making the team," OWN president Erik Logan said in a statement.

Sam's agent, Cameron Weiss, said the decision to call off the series was made after a discussion with Sam and the Rams. "This will allow for Michael to have total focus on football, and will ensure no distractions to his teammates," Weiss told the media.

The NFL and the Rams were unaware of the documentary when they drafted Sam, Weiss said in an interview earlier this week, and Mike Florio of NBC Sports reports the team had been unconcerned. "Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Rams intend to cooperate with Sam in a way that will make the entire situation — including reality show — work out for everyone," Florio wrote.

Teammates were less comfortable, ESPN reported. An anonymous Rams player told the network that the appearance that Sam was striving for a measure of celebrity while the others were hoping to just make the roster was causing friction.

"It's an interesting case that he gets to work with Oprah and have his own show, but I think it does raise eyebrows and it may be somewhat of a distraction," the player told ESPN's Josina Anderson. "But this is our first time dealing with something like this, so we'll have to wait and see how it plays out and how people react."

OF COURSE...Did they not THINK all of this media focus on ONE PLAYER might cause some DISTRACTIONS! They should have thought this through a little more. In theory and on PAPER it appears to be a good idea, but in PRACTICE--not so much. So if you were WAITING for Sam's REALITY SHOW..don't hold your breath.

Of course The Rams organization would take issue with all this media attention. And with the media SCRUTINY already at FEVER PITCH proportions  this was BOUND to become a CIRCUS, thus being a HUGE DISTRACTION to the TEAM.
