That's a 10-year audience high for a documentary on the premium network. Hate it or LOVE it, the PEOPLE have spoke and it appears the MASSES LOVE BEYONCE!!! Clarkson issued an OPEN LETTER to her fans CONDEMNING LIES that her one-time MENTOR, music HONCHO Clive Davis wrote about her in his memoir, 'The Soundtrack of My Life'. In the letter, Kelly SLAMS Davis for inaccurate account of their time together recording her albums. Hey y'all, So I just heard Clive Davis is releasing a memoir and spreading false information about me and my music. I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans. It feels like a violation. Growing up is awesome because you learn you don't have to cower to anyone – even Clive Davis.Oh that's not all!! Clarkson alleges Davis accounts of their working together is INACCURATE!!! | Starring Cast of the #TLC Biopic Revealed! My Thoughts! [details] Posted: 19 Feb 2013 10:01 PM PST  Earlier this month MC Lyte leaked that rapper and Lil' Mama was cast to play the rambunctious yet endearing Lisa 'Left-Eye' Lopes in the upcoming TLC biopic, 'Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story'. Now VH1 has announced who will portray Chilli and T-Boz!!!!    VH1 has chosen KeKe Palmer ('Joyful Noise, Akeelah & The Bee') and Drew Sidora to portray Chilli and T-Boz, respectively. You may not recognize Sidora by name, but you have seen her before.  Sidora played 'Shaunice' in 'White Chicks'.  And a love interest on BET's 'The Game'  The tv-movie will chronicle TLC's rise to fame from their 1991 debut to their ultimate unraveling from within as the group's fame began to diminish. Production is set to begin filming in Atlanta next month. Many critics are ALREADY panning the actresses selected to play the members of the ICONIC girl band before production has even begun. But, don;t you think we should save JUDGEMENT until we actually see something from the young cast of characters. Personally I feel that each one of these ladies has something SPECIAL to bring to the the people they have been chosen to portray. They are young aspiring females that all GREW up to TLC as FANS first and foremost and they know how important this group was to POP CULTURE so i am SURE none of the young ladies want to drop the ball on this one. Did we think that Jamie Foxx would embody Ray Charles in the manner that he did?  What about Angela Bassett's complete TRANSFORMATION into Tina Turner for her role in 'What's Love Got To Do With It?"  Granted these are BIG BUDGET films, true enough, but small screen portrayals of such biopics have been done quite well. Lest we forget ABC's 'The Jacksons: An American Dream' from 1992.  VH1 has done such biopics in the past with good success. Take 'Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story'.  'But let's just forget about Flex Alexander as Michael Jackson for the biopic 'Man in the Mirror'.    That movie was just TERRIBLE.. So the magnitude of this story is COLOSSAL on paper, so hopefully VH1 will get great writers and deliver a great script and the actors chosen will give their all to make this a huge success that it CAN be. Not only did he discover talent as wide-ranging as Janis Joplin, Santana, Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys, he has recorded everyone from Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen to Dionne Warwick and Aretha Franklin. There were the Grateful Dead and Aerosmith. Did I mention, Barry Manilow, Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson? He formed a company with L.A. Reid and Babyface, which became home base for Usher and Pink. With Sean "Puffy" Combs he founded Bad Boy Records and recorded Notorious B.I.G. The list does go on and on. Nearly 50 years after the one-time lawyer became the president of CBS Records, he remains a vital force in the music industry. Davis, now 80, reigns as the chief creative officer of Sony Music Entertainment and just last week he appeared on the cover of Billboard Magazine's power issue. PHOTOS: Clive Davis Shares Personal Celeb Photos Now comes his autobiography, "The Sound Track of My Life," in which he chronicles a childhood in Brooklyn, the loss of his parents when he was still a teen and his triumphant, scholarship-supported march through New York University and then Harvard Law School. The over 500-page book is filled with the often juicy behind-the-scenes stories of some of the best known artists of our time: How Janice Joplin suggested she perform a sexual act with him to seal their deal, how John Lennon offered him insight to the creative process, the false accusations of embezzlement that ended his career at CBS. And there are deeply personal revelations: The end of his two marriages, and in the final chapter, Davis discusses his sexuality. He is bisexual, he told me. Since the end of his second marriage in 1985, he has been sexually involved with men. At first with both men and women, Davis said, but for the past 20 years with two male partners: A doctor for 13 years and for the past seven, with another man he does not name. He tells me bisexuality is "maligned and misunderstood" but that it is his truth and he decided it was time for him to say so publicly. I asked Davis about the old adage that people are "either gay, straight or lying." "I'm not lying," Davis said. "[Bisexuality] does exist. For over 50 years I never had sex with a male. It wasn't repressed. I had very good sexual relationships with women." When pressed about why he doesn't name the men he has had relationships with, he said it is their privacy he is protecting, not his own. We have followed Davis around for much of the past month — trying to keep up. From his extraordinary office at the top of New York's Sony Building, to his stunning, art-filled New York duplex and finally to his bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Davis is fun to be around.
