THE BIG GAME! #SuperBowlXLVII! #Ravens vs #49ers! Posted: 02 Feb 2013 09:01 PM PST The San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens face off in the 2013 Super Bowl today, and over 100 million people will be watching in the United States alone. The Ravens will be trying to become the the third straight team to win the championship after entering the playoffs in the Wild Card round, while the 49ers are going for their sixth Super Bowl win is as many tries. Not many outside of Baltimore would have expected the Ravens to get this far after they stumbled down the stretch. They lost four of their last five regular-season games and were barely able to hang on for the AFC North title and earn a home game in the first round of the playoffs. That helped them grab an easy 24-9 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. The 49ers are favored in the matchup, but more money has come in on the Ravens' side as they appear to be the hot team. It should be a good game, as defenses on both sides have the ability to hold the opposing team down. Sources said that Frank was seeking prosecution, but Ocean went on his Tumblr page to write a memo about the matter. In the cryptic memo, Ocean 'forgives' Chris.  READ ON..... I am quite sure Brown is letting out a huge 'SIGH"' of relief right now.  He does not need any more run-ins with the law. #Beyonce springs a leak: New tour in the works? [details] Posted: 02 Feb 2013 03:20 PM PST Beyonce fever is spreading faster every day as fans anticipate what looks to be a blockbuster comeback. High profile magazine covers, her Superbowl performance this weekend, new music dropping any day now, and now news of an upcoming world tour? It may just be speculation but a new image leaked on Live Nation's UK website shows Beyonce adorning an elegant dress (much similar to the one she wears in what was previously assumed to be the photo shoot for her upcoming Vogue magazine spread). The headline in the pic reads "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour". GET MORE DETAILS after the JUMP!!!!!!!!! The pic has since been removed but of course imaginations have been fueled to run wild, as fans have begun to wonder if there is any validity to this upcoming tour and if this is in fact the title of her upcoming album. Beyonce has remained quite tight-lipped about any information regarding her upcoming project, with the exception that she is working with Justin Timberlake, Azaliea Banks, and Timbaland. She did reveal during her recent Superbowl press conference that she will be touring soon and that an "announcement" may be made shortly after her halftime performance. #TheBoondocks goes #SallyStrothers! Help support the #UncleRuckus movie?? [video] Posted: 02 Feb 2013 12:16 AM PST Social media fans of the Adult Swim animated series 'The Boondocks' received a cryptic message from the show's fan page earlier this week about a "big announcement". When I got the tweet, I thought maybe they were bringing the series back for a new season or perhaps turning the series into a movie. Well, I was partially correct unfortunately. The show's creator, Aaron McGruder is making a movie, but it's not based on the entire series. It's only being based on one of the show's POLARIZING character, Uncle Ruckus. Uncle Ruckus is a bit of an "Uncle Tom", if you will, who thrives on self-hatred and the hatred of his own race while taking advantage of every opportunity to promote and elevate white people. I'm not sure if an entire movie based on this character sounds like a box office hit. Apparently, I'm not the only one with my doubts. The Boondocks camp has started a Kickstarter page to help raise funds for the production of the movie because it doesn't seem like the idea is getting the financial backing it needs. YES SERIOUSLY!!! Check the rest of the details and watch the, TEASER VIDEO for the project after the JUMP! Only a couple of days into the campaign, the page has generated nearly $19,000 in pledges, but still has a long way to go to reach the $200,000 it needs. If you want to support the movie, you have until February 28 to do so. Wow, just what we need during Black History month, right? My take is, if you have to ask fans to raise money to fund a film, you might need re-think the idea. Next thing you know, we'll be getting tweets about Boondocks bake sales, car washes, and raffles.
