| Jet Mag to #Fantasia, "We Didn't LIKE your Pics!" in response to her cover RANT! Posted: 22 Feb 2013 04:59 PM PST  Wednesday, you may remember that Fantasia was a bit UPSET that Jet mag chose to use a 10 year old image for their cover story about her. Fanny was VERY VOCAL about her dislike for the SWITCHEROO, and vented on Instagram that Jet mag owed her a PUBLIC APOLOGY. WELL, IT APPEARS that JET will not be issuing such apology. Jet stands behind their decision to use an older pic of Fantasia and reps for the mag said there is NOTHING to apologize FOR!!! A rep for the mag says that the shot they chose to use was considered "most appropriate for JET's brand and reflective of the cover story sentiment. " The rep goes on to say Fantasia's rep had sent over a series of pics she had hoped the mag would use, but editors felt Barrino's face was too obstructed and didn't meet the standards of a JET cover. But there are no HARD FEELINGS from Jet. They are still urging people to support the edition and the artist. Here are some of the REJECTED shots:   If these were some of the shots sent over for consideration, I can see why they chose to dig back in the ARCHIVES for a BETTER IMAGE. In these shots she looks like a 53 year old owner of a brothel. IJS... At the end of the day, the FACE on the cover is STILL her, so she should be HAPPY about that. | New Video: #KendrickLamar-'Poetic Justice' feat. #Drake- Posted: 22 Feb 2013 09:56 AM PST  It's FINALLY here! Kendrick Lamar drops the video for 'Poetic Justice'. HERE IT GOES.... THOUGHTS???? I like the song and Kendrick is one of the HOTTEST NEW RAPPERS in the game right now, but for me the video was BLAH. It was cool to give a nod back to the Crenshaw Swap Meet scene from 'Boyz N The Hood', but other than that, it was just a bit BORING to me. With an amazing sample like 'Anytime, Anyplace', I just saw so many MISSED OPPORTUNITIES for a cinematic pay-off. I guess I was expecting a WHOLE LOT MORE...... But I was disappointed. Still a good song, but the visual fell FLAT for me. I guess JANET said, "Kendrick, WHO?? Thanks but no thanks." to making a cameo. OH WELL....
