| #Volkswagen 'Jamaican' #Superbowl Commercial LEAKS! Sparks RACIST Criticism! [video] Posted: 29 Jan 2013 09:42 PM PST  A Volkswagen ad slated to air during the Super Bowl this Sunday is getting criticized for being racist. The controversial ad features a jovial white office worker speaking to disgruntled colleagues with a thick Jamaican accent. The spot has already elicited intense criticism with one prominent essayist calling the ad, "blackface with voices."  Check out what has the CRITICS up in arms!!! The ad has NON-Jamaican actors speaking in exaggerated Caribbean accents. Is this RACIST or are the critics being hyper-sensitive?? To me it's not offensive, its humor, but then again I am not Caribbean either. The ad prompted a barrage of critics to accuse Volkswagen of being racist. "This is so racist," Barbara Lippert, editor-at-large of Mediapost.com, said on TODAY. "It's just saying, 'Black people are happy.'" And during a segment on CNN's Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien, columnist Charles Blow said the ad was "like blackface with voices. I don't like that." For its part Volkswagen representatives told CNN that the company consulted with 100 Jamaicans and a speech coach to make sure they weren't being offensive. THOUGHTS??? | Reality Rewind: #RupaulsDragrace Recap! [details] Posted: 29 Jan 2013 09:59 PM PST   1. Beef during the first 5 minutes! During the introduction of the 14 contestants, Coco Montrese's face gets CRACKED when she walks in and sees Alyssa Edwards. There is definitely some bad blood between these queens from a past pageant, but they kept the tea pitcher sealed on this one. I'm sure tensions will come to a head between the girls later this season and what really went down will be revealed.    2. Fish really CAN'T swim! The first challenge was for the girls to dip into a tank of water and still try to remain fabulous and give face. #Epic fail! Most of the girls sunk like a rock at the bottom of the lake.  3. Go to sleep, hoe! This season, one of the queens is NARCOLEPTIC. While the other queens are kiki-ing after the challenge, Jinxx Monsoon is cuddled up on the coach with her blankie knocked out cold! Even more hilarious is during one of the interviews when she just falls asleep out of nowhere and the producer tries to revive her! LOL 4. All eyes on Alaska! There has to be a lot of pressure when your boyfriend was the winner of last season! Yes, Alaska is the girl.. errr… boy…friend of Sharon Needles. Alaska definitely needs to step it up because the stakes are high. She basically said "F*ck it" during the first challenge and her trashy couture gown looked like… well, trash. Don't know how she made it but luck was definitely a lady that night. 5. Penny Tration, who was voted on this season as the fan favorite really faltered. After the girls had to "dumpster dive" for materials to transform into an evening couture gown, most of the girls turned it! However, Penny landed in the bottom two, as her gown looked lumpier than old gravy. Yes, she's a thick girl but somehow she went wrong with the padding and ended up looking like somebody injected her with fix-a-flat and super glue. Serena Chacha's gown also looked like What-the-hell and these two had to lip sync for their lives. Miss Penny didn't even know the words to the song and kept turning around and standing behind Serena. Miss Serena did a fierce split (something Penny would have had to call the paramedics to revive her from had she even tried) and it was all over.  Now it's down to the Lucky 13! Tune in next Monday for more Drag Racing. May the best woman WIN! Amazing the way they TRANSFORM...but they still SCARE ME!!! So, it should come as NO surprise that 50 would chime in on Rick Ross' alleged recent 'DRIVE-BY SHOOTING'. 50 Cent seems to be under the impression that the 'shoot-out' may have been STAGED!!
