Irony or POETIC JUSTICE-'ShawtyLo ARRESTED for NON-PAYMENT of CHILD SUPPORT!? [details]

In what can be clearly deemed IRONIC or even poetic justice, depending on who you ask, rapper Shawty Lo was ARRESTED this weekend and taken into custody for of all things, NON-PAYMENT of CHILD SUPPORT!!!!

The Plot THICKENS....get the details after the JUMP!!




Shawty Lo, who has made headlines in the last few weeks leading up to his now-cancelled reality show, "All My Babies' Mamas". The show was to center around his relationship with his 11 children, and their 10 mothers, but has since been CANCELED.

Over the weekend Shawty Lo was taken into custody for "failure to pay child support"--A charge that contradicts Shawty's prior defense of the show when he claimed, "I take pride in having been actively present in all my children's lives".


The now infamous rapper was reportedly arrested following a taping of CNN's "Showbiz Tonight" in which he was further discussing the politics of his show. He was released on bond and quickly took to SOCIAL MEDIA to announce his RELEASE:

The all adage goes, 'Momma knows best...'.  Well in the case of these two REALITY TV Mom's we may want to THROW that adage OUT THE WINDOW.  Lil' Scrappy's outspoken mother, Momma Dee and Keyshia Cole's  BIO mom, Frankie Lons (another outspoken mother), were recently on 'The Ryan Cameron Morning Show' on Atlanta's People Station, V-103.  They were alongside legendary singer, songwriter, Keith Sweat.  They appeared to be getting along just fine, rocking out to classic Keith Sweat throwbacks, when a few words got exchanged and the two 'ladies' BLEW UP', erupting into a BRAWL for it ALL!!! Luckily the CAMERAS were ROLLING and caught it on TAPE!! Let's take a look at what prompted the FIGHT and how it TURNED OUT!!!

On this momentous WEEKEND leading up to a MOMENTOUS day, I thought it fitting to dig back into the crates.  WE have to look back from where we came to appreciate what's in front of us today. President Obama was sworn into office for his 2nd term today, and tomorrow we celebrate the life and STRUGGLE of Dr. Martin Luther King, so it was fitting that the Sunday Slingback would be a song about FREEDOM.  Let the ladies of RAP tell you better.....

From reading the title of the post, you may be a bit confused.  How can President Obama have been SOWRN into office four times if this is just is 2nd time in office.  Well.... LET ME EXPLAIN.




While an estimated 800,000 people are expected to gather in Washington D.C. Monday to watch President Obama be sworn in for a second term, his second term officially begins Sunday. He will take his oath of office in a private ceremony. Vice President Joe Biden was sworn in on Sunday morning at the Naval Observatory.

Obama will took the oath of office for a second term in a small ceremony in the Blue Room of the White House at 11:55 am. Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath.

Obama was be sworn in using a Bible today that belonged to First Lady Michelle Obama's grandmother, LaVaughn Delores Robinson. The Robinson family Bible was a present from the first lady's father to his mother on Mother's Day in 1958, six years before Michelle's birth.

Due to constitutionally-mandated scheduling, President Obama became the second president in U.S. history to have four swearing-in ceremonies. HERE IS THE EXPLANTATION:

Today was Obama's third. Rmember back in 2008 Obama was sworn in twice out of an abundance of caution after Chief Justice John Roberts flubbed the oath of office.

Franklin Roosevelt was also sworn-in four times but, unlike Obama, he was elected four times.
–This year will mark the seventh time a president has taken the oath on a Sunday and then again on Monday for ceremonial purposes. Reagan last took the oath on a Sunday in 1985.
