With the BOOB TUBE filled with SO MANY reality shows, you almost FORGET about the GRAND PAPA of REALITY shows, 'The Real World', is still going--not as strong-- but still tugging along. Things are CHANGING and possibly for the BETTER for the VENERABLE REALITY franchise that started it all.

'The REAL WORLD' is getting a MAJOR OVERHAUL and these new CHANGES could SHAKE THINGS UP and BRING HUGE RATINGS along the way.

GUESS WHAT'S COMING for the UPCOMING SEASON!!??

For the first time in 21 years and 28 seasons, the hit MTV show will be re-titled, "Real World: Ex-Plosion," and will not only feature "seven strangers", but also their EXES!!!

"Things take a dramatic turn when exes of the original seven roommates surprisingly take the house by storm and move right in," according to MTV. "In the midst of new relationships that started to brew before their exes arrived, the roommates find out very quickly that things can get complicated as loyalty is tested, tempers flare and romances sizzle and fizzle."

So, what sparked MTV to change up the show's format?

Jonathan Murray, who co-created the series with Mary Ellis-Bunim, is hoping the new twist will create a bump in ratings. Murray explains that the new format came about in an organic way.

"When we cast people, we usually always try to cast single people," he said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. "And they'd say they were single during casting process. Then the moment they arrived at the house suddenly their ex was back in their life. I don't know if it's a safety blanket or that we're never really done with our exes. When you talk about the age of our cast, their ex is often their first love -- they play a huge role in their life."

All that BUILT UP EMOTION , ALCOHOL and hormones--THIS SHOULD be a GREAT EXPERIMENT indeed!

Also different this time around is that the housemates will be allowed SMARTPHONES to 'document their journey' throughout the season. This is the 1st time the cast will have cell phones while in the house.

It's about time 'The Real World' changed the format a bit. They have not been HOT for some years now, so this new approach may be the SHOT in the ARM the venerable series needs to stay alive in the SEA of REALITY SHOWS it SPAWNED!

Mariska Hargitay got a big honor on Friday, Nov. 8 when she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The "Law & Order: SVU" star was joined by her pals including Blair Underwood, Debra Messing, Hilary Swank, Maria Bello and "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf. Hargitay was honored with the 2,511th star on the Walk of Fame at 6328 Hollywood Blvd. Her star was placed next to her mother's, Jayne Mansfield, star.

The first glimpse of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, which features the Fifty Shades of Grey costars on the cover of its Nov. 22 issue. It's the first time the actors have been photographed together—after getting their movie makeovers, no less!—since they were cast in the film adaptation of author E.L. James' trilogy.

It's also the first time the stars have spoken about their involvement with the buzzed-about film. Dornan was hired in late October as a replacement for Charlie Hunnam, who had originally been tapped to play the sadomasochistic billionaire. Johnson, meanwhile, was cast in early September.

Pebbles has been DRAGGED from one side of social media to the other after her PORTRAYAL on VH1's 'Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story'. We've heard for over 20 years that she CHEATED TLC out of MILLIONS of dollars! Finally, Pebbles SPEAKS OUT about what she calls FALSEHOODS from the biopic! She claims the did NOT cheat the girls out of millions, and that T-Boz and Left Eye wanted Chilli out of the group. She also talks on whether or not Chilli had SLEPT with Pebble's THEN HUSBAND, L.A. Reid!!

Pebbles keeps saying that she was this HUGE VISIONARY that founded the group and she's putting all this TEA into her new book. If she was such a VISIONARY, how come she was such a LACKLUSTER solo artist? Also if this was such a PROBLEM, why is it 20 years later, and she is just now coming out and speaking on it?
