Posted: 22 Nov 2013 08:53 AM PST Not many people who were alive during the Big Depression of the 20th century are still around today, but if they were it would be nice to learn from them about what they went through in the 1920s and '30s. Today's world is a lot different, though. Unlike then, not as many people are farmers, keep animals, or know how to grow their own food. Now, most people rely on the grocery store down the street to survive. If America - and the world - is headed toward a massive depression, the situation is going to be even more bleak because of the fact people can't take care of themselves anymore. And when people can't eat, they're going to get antsy and the chances of rioting, looting and anarchy increase.
